Britney Spears Hasn’t Seen Her Kids in a Year, Binge-Sleeps for Days, According to New Doc

Though it originally seemed as if Britney Spears' life was really turning a corner when she was freed from her conservatorship, now it sounds like she's been struggling even more. According to a new documentary about the singer, Britney hasn't seen her kids in a year and she's spending most of her time sleeping, giving fans cause for concern.

TMZ released a new documentary about Britney.

It's called Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom, and it focuses on her post-conservatorship life. Unfortunately, everything being reported in the documentary paints a dark picture of what her days are like right now. In fact, it claims that Britney is in "virtual isolation," spending almost all of her time alone at home.

She reportedly spends a lot of time driving around 'aimlessly.'

That could be understandable, given that she was unable to drive for so many years of her life while she was still under her conservatorship … but she's also exhibiting other erratic behaviors, such as being a "binge-sleeper." For Britney, that means that she'll reportedly sleep continuously for three days while staying awake for the following five.

The documentary also claims that Britney hasn't seen her kids in a year.

Sons Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16, have been open about the fact that they wanted to have some breathing room from their mom, but apparently, their estrangement still hasn't ended.

"By the end of the summer [2022], tensions got so bad that the boys weren’t even responding to her texts. And she was furious," Katie Hayes, a TMZ producer, said in the film.

Things still aren't good between Britney and her sons.

Kevin Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, appeared in the documentary and shared his take on what the boys are going through.

"They love their mother, and they hope that the relationship will improve going forward so that everyone is comfortable, but right now, that is a dynamic that doesn’t seem to be in existence," he said, according to Page Six.

Sam Asghari has already spoken out against the documentary.

Britney's husband took to his Instagram Stories on Sunday to slam the documentary in her defense.

"The last thing I want to do is speak on my wife's behalf, I will never do that. I respect her privacy, that's why I don't talk as much," he said in the video, via People. "I found it absolutely disgusting for the people that were in her life at the time when she didn't have a voice, they went and told her story like it was theirs. It was absolutely disgusting."

Here's hoping that Britney's real life is actually less grim than the picture painted in this documentary.
