Britney Spears is done with men! On July 7, 2024, the 42-year-old singer announced her new way of life via her Instagram Stories, declaring that she was “single as f—” amid her breakup from Paul Richard Soliz, who was initially hired as a housekeeper for her home in 2022 when she was still married to her ex-husband, Sam Asghari. Britney posted a paparazzi photograph from April where Paul is driving a vehicle and she appears to hide from paparazzi in the passenger’s seat. She wrote that her ex-boyfriend's driving endangered her, and that only one photographer was following them at that time.

She had a lot to say.
“Why was he going 90 in a neighborhood with one pap following only to roll the window down when the pap pulls to the side of me ????” she wrote. “Then he calls his mom and says he’s being harassed. Why did he roll the window down with me crying in the seat??”
Britney followed up with a post declaring her singleness.
In a post that read, "Her attitude is savage, but her heart is gold,” Britney initially wrote in her caption, “Single as f—!!! I will never be with another man as long as I live!!!” She has since deleted that caption and replaced it with the credit of the account that originally posted the photo.

Britney and Sam were married for less than two years.
The "Toxic" singer was married to Sam, who is a model and actor, for a little over one year. They first met after he appeared as her love interest in her "Slumber Party" music video in 2016. They dated for six years before tying the knot in 2022.
Their divorce was 'amicable.'
Court documents revealed that the former couple separated on July 28, 2023. In August of that year, Sam filed for divorce. "AFTER 6 YEARS OF LOVE AND COMMITMENT TO EACH OTHER MY WIFE AND I HAVE DECIDED TO END OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER," he wrote in an Instagram post. "WE WILL HOLD ONTO THE LOVE AND RESPECT WE HAVE FOR EACH OTHER AND I WISH HER THE BEST ALWAYS."
Sam says he'll never talk down about her.
In March 2024, Same opened up in an interview with People. "It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a long time. And people grow apart and people move on," he said. "I never understood when people part ways [and] they talk badly about each other. That's something I'm never going to do because I had nothing but an amazing experience."
