Taylor Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce over the weekend may not have been an official red carpet event, but the fashion was definitely just as good (if not better) than if it had been a true Hollywood gala. As Travis’ teammate and close friend, of course Patrick Mahomes was in attendance with his wife, Brittany… but now that she’s sharing her wedding look, she’s getting dragged online.
Brittany went ultra glam for the wedding.
Patrick shared photos of the couple all dressed up for Friday’s wedding on Instagram. The dress code was black tie, and these two took that seriously in coordinating blue looks.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback wore a dark blue suit with a bowtie, while Brittany dressed up in a light blue gown, accessorizing with a diamond choker and coordinating earrings.
The comments on his post were all super positive — so many people were gushing over how gorgeous Brittany looked. But in other areas of the internet, that certainly isn’t the case…
People really do not like her look.
Brittany’s snark subreddit is alive and well, and by and large, the users there are not fans of this particular look.
(Some of them were also holding out hope that she and Patrick hadn’t been invited at all, but there was never really a chance of them being left off the guest list — Travis and Patrick are way too close.)
One person pointed out her tan, comparing her to an “Oompa Loompa” and saying that her skin looked way too orange, while others were questioning her taste in fashion in general.
“The gold shoes don’t look good with that dress, and the clutch looks odd with the light blue dress. Doesn’t she have a stylist?” one person asked.
Another commenter wrote, “I’m starting to feel bad for Brittany. Her stylist is awful from hair to wardrobe on a regular basis. And I don’t think she knows how to find a new one. She’s trying too hard to fit in when with wardrobe and hair and she looks 40 in the face and has a ‘basic body’ with implants. She should be able to find any stylist to work with her. That is something I truly don’t understand.”
A comedian is roasting her, too.
Comedian Taylor Wolfe shared a video mocking Brittany on Instagram, pretending to be her as she asked Patrick repeatedly when the “contract” allows them to post photos they took at Taylor’s wedding. And to make matters worse, former NFL reporter Dianna Russini even liked the video, as Us Weekly reported. Yikes!
If Brittany felt pretty in her wedding attire, that’s all that really matters. Plus, she was on theme since that shade of blue was very opalite.
