Brittany Mahomes attended Stagecoach Festival over the weekend, and people had a lot to say about it. Stagecoach Festival is a country music festival held in Indio, California. After seeing some of Brittany’s recent social posts, some NFL fans assumed she was at Coachella, until critics pointed out that she was actually at the arguably more conservative, MAGA-ish music festival.
In 2024, Brittany sparked backlash after her social media activity led people to believe she was supporting President Donald Trump. Among those convinced of this was Trump himself, who later praised Brittany for supporting him. However, the criticism directed at Brittany after Stagecoach was not all political in nature.
People also didn’t like her outfit.
In photos and videos shared via Instagram, Brittany sported a cowgirl-inspired outfit. She paired white bloomer shorts with a white lace-up top and accessorized with cowboy boots and a black cowboy hat. Although it seemed on-theme for the music festival, a lot of critics on social media clearly didn’t see the vision.
“What is that outfit?” one critic wrote on Reddit in response to a video of Brittany and her friend Miranda in their festival-ready outfits. “She looks like an extra from Pirates of the Caribbean,” another critic commented.
Someone else added, “What in the world are they wearing? It’s giving rodeo meets Moulin Rouge. Yikes.” Others also thought Brittany’s bloomers looked more like a diaper.
Apparently, having fun is also a problem.
At least, the way in which Brittany was having fun over the weekend appeared to be pretty controversial. In their lighthearted video, Brittany and Miranda danced to Tame Impala and JENNIE’s “Dracula,” which seemed to bother quite a few people.
Although Brittany is only 30 years old, some people made it about her age. “Oh Gosh cringiest thing I’ve seen in a while,” a commenter reacted. “Talk about being bored housewives acting like they are 15 again playing dress up and making videos.”
Someone else said, “Are they 15 years old? This is the cringiest thing I’ve seen in a looooooong time.” To be fair, some people did jump to Brittany’s defense, because why can’t a 30-year-old woman have fun? “girls can have fun, babes,” one person wrote in response to the haters. “I don’t really like her but that’s a trend.”
Brittany’s followers were far less critical.
In addition to sharing the fun video with her friend Miranda, Brittany posted two sets of photos from Stagecoach, many of which featured her husband, Patrick Mahomes. She captioned the first series of images, in which she sported the all-white outfit, with, “In my element✨”
In the photos she shared on April 26, she wore a brown see-through dress, a large heart necklace, and black boots. “Inhaled lots of dirt, it was great🤠” she captioned that post. Though some of her followers didn’t love the unconventional necklace, they generally had positive things to say about her weekend at Stagecoach.
“The most adorable celebrity couple ever ❤️🙌❤️!” one of her followers commented. Many of them commented on how Brittany and Patrick, who are parents of three children, just seemed to be enjoying a fun weekend out during the offseason.
