What to Know
Now that the news is out about Bunnie Xo‘s divorce from Jelly Roll, another one of the podcast host’s exes is coming forward to share the story of their relationship. While talking to the Daily Mail, Bunnie’s ex-husband, Francisco Lombardo — also known as Frankie — claimed that their marriage “destroyed” his life after they went their separate ways in 2014.
Bunnie Xo and Frankie met on MySpace.
What a throwback, right? But it was the early 2000s, and that was simply how things were done back then. When they first met, it was 2009, and Bunnie was married to Christopher Gilbert, Frankie was dating someone, and at the very beginning of their romantic relationship, Frankie was the one to serve the divorce papers to Bunnie’s current husband, which is more than a little awkward.
“It was really f–king weird, man,” he told The Daily Mail in an interview published this week. “He’s just a normal dude, kind of a weird dude. And they have a little bit of a checkered past, I guess, but I was glad to serve the guy papers. I’ll never forget that.”
Just a year after they met, Frankie and Bunnie got married in Hawaii.
Their marriage was “very adventurous,” but not without its problems.
It sounds like Frankie had a blast being married to Bunnie… as long as he didn’t think about the sugar daddies who were funding her lifestyle. They weren’t a secret, but Frankie was “super jealous” of them anyway.
“She never saw them. They lived out of state,” he said, adding, “I wanted her all to myself. There was definitely some arguing and stuff that took place.”
Their relationship spiraled even further when his family moved in with him after they lost their house when they were indicted on fraud charges. Frankie said that everyone living under one roof “totally destroyed our relationship,” and things only got worse between them.
He said their divorce was the “lowest point”of his life.
Four years after they got married, Bunnie and Frankie went their separate ways in 2014. She then dated a man who she has accused of abusing her, and in 2015, she met Jelly Roll, and we all know how the story goes after that.
“Bunnie was the only girl that broke my heart,” Frankie, who was referred to as “Paulie” in Bunnie’s book, told The Daily Mail. “She left me for another man.”
He added that Bunnie leaving “destroyed my life,” and finding out that she was with a man who “beat her up” was a “f–king nightmare.”
According to what Frankie has shared on TikTok, he and Bunnie are still in touch, so you never know what the future could hold.
