Caitlyn Jenner Reveals the ‘Sad’ Truth About Where Her Relationship With Kris Is Now

It's been nearly a decade since Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner went their separate ways after their 2015 divorce, but it doesn't sound like the beef between them is in the past — at least, not yet. In a new interview, Caitlyn revealed where her relationship with her ex stands today, and it sounds like the relationship between her, Kris, and the Kardashians hasn't exactly improved since the last update. And the famous family may really not like what Caitlyn's next move is going to be …

Caitlyn will speak out about the Kardashians in a new docuseries.

Called House of Kardashian, all three episodes will premiere on the UK's Sky Documentaries on October 8. The series chronicles the Kardashian family's rise to fame, and some who have been close to them through the years will talk about their experiences, including Caitlyn herself.

Caitlyn and Kris split after Caitlyn came out as trans, and since then, the relationship between her and her former stepchildren seems to be fractured at best.

While promoting the series, she shared an update on her relationship with Kris.

At this point, it sounds like that relationship is nonexistent, even though they are both parents to Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

"Well Kris, I really never talk to anymore," Caitlyn said while appearing on This Morning on ITV1. "Yeah, it’s sad. If there’s any communication, my manager kind of talks to her."

She admitted that these days, she's closer to some of her kids than others.

"I certainly see them and we do this and that," she added. "I’m much closer to the Jenner side, but Kris, I don’t really have any more contact with her. It's kind of sad because we went through a lot."

After 23 years of marriage, it has to be hard to no longer even speak.

She also spoke out on reports that Kris isn't happy Caitlyn participated in the docuseries.

Recently, a source told Closer magazine that Kris thinks that Caitlyn is trying to be "vindictive" by appearing in House of Kardashian and plans to "ghost" her permanently because of it. But Caitlyn doesn't seem convinced that these reports are based in truth.

"It’s part of the game," she said. "The media will make up a lot of the controversy and try to make up a story."

Caitlyn said she wanted to tell her story to 'protect' her family.

"I'm a parent, I love my children," she said. "You know the Kardashian side and a little bit of the Jenner side, but I think a lot of times in the media you get totally misrepresented, so I wanted to do it just to say first of all how much I love my kids, and second of all how proud I am of them and what they’ve been able to accomplish. It is an amazing story."

It will definitely be interesting to see what Caitlyn has to say in the docuseries when it premieres on Sunday — and how the Kardashians and Jenners react to it.
