In the past year, so many celebrities have gotten engaged (and gone on to make us totally jealous with their fancy new bling), planning to spend the rest of their lives with the person they love most in the world. So many proposals have happened in 2021 that it's hard to keep them all straight!
From the super low-key couples like Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers to the ones who have been all over the news (and all over each other) like Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, love has definitely been in the air in Hollywood this year. We're about to witness a lot of weddings, y'all!

Lindsay Lohan & Bader Shammas
Lindsay Lohan is ending the year on quite a high note. Just as the holiday season kicked off, she revealed on Instagram that her financier boyfriend, Bader Shammas, had popped the question. She announced the news with a series of adorable candid pics of the moment, putting her massive diamond ring on display for her fans to gawk at.
Jenna Cooper & Karl Hudson
In June, Bachelor in Paradise alum Jenna Cooper announced that boyfriend (and baby daddy) Karl Hudson had popped the question, sharing a gorgeous photo from their proposal on the beach that featured their daughter, Presley.
She wrote: "Easiest decision ever, and Presley agrees. Love my little family so much, and excited to marry my best friend! Karl is everything I ever wanted in a man and more. This is the best birthday, and I'm so overwhelmed with joy."
Ty Pennington & Kellee Merrell
Extreme Home Makeover star Ty Pennington announced in July that he and girlfriend Kellee Merrell were engaged by sharing a photo of his new fiancée's seriously impressive ring on Instagram, writing, "It's the ring for me." There's no doubt their wedding will be gorgeously decorated.
Kristen Stewart & Dylan Meyer
In early November, Kristen revealed in an interview on Howard Stern's radio show that she and Dylan Meyer are engaged.
"I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We're marrying, it's happening," she said at the time.
Tallulah Willis & Dillon Buss
Tallulah Willis — the daughter of former couple Bruce Willis and Demi Moore — got engaged to her boyfriend, director Dillon Buss, when he popped the question in their backyard in May.
"With absolute most certainty," she captioned the photo.
Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker
Less than a year after taking their relationship public, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker announced their engagement in October. From what they shared on social media, it seems like he popped the question in a super romantic rose-themed beach proposal, followed by dinner with her family to celebrate.
Taylor Lautner & Taylor Dome
When Taylor Lautner marries his fiancée, they'll both be Taylor Lautner. He and Taylor Dome got engaged in November 2021, and the Twilight star shared the news along with a sweet caption about what his future wife means to him.
"You calm me when I'm anxious," he wrote. "You make me laugh way too much. You make every single day spent with you so special. And most importantly, you make me a better person. I can't thank you enough for what you've brought to my life. I love you forever."
Shailene Woodley & Aaron Rodgers
Though they haven't spoken out much about their relationship, in early 2021 Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers surprised fans by sharing that they were engaged — and had been for awhile.
“He's, first off, just a wonderful, incredible human being," Shailene said in an interview with Jimmy Fallon, via Us Weekly. "But I never thought I'd be engaged with somebody who threw balls for a living. Like, I never thought as a little girl, 'Yeah, when I grow up, I'm gonna marry someone who throws balls! Yeah!' But he's really just so good at it."
Teresa Giudice & Luis Ruelas
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice said yes to Luis Ruelas in October, and after seeing the proposal — which included actual fireworks — it's easy to see why.
"My fiancé, you are such a beautiful person inside and out," she wrote when she shared the news on Instagram. "I love everything about you, especially your heart and the way you treat me and my daughters. You are amazing in so many ways. One thing I admire about you is what a great dad you are. The former host of The Bachelor has finally found his own happy ending. In October, he and longtime girlfriend Lauren Zima made things official by getting engaged — and of course, since this is Chris Harrison we're talking about, his proposal was a pretty impressive one.
Christina Haack & Josh Hall
Christina Haack announced her engagement to Josh Hall during a trip to Mexico in September when she flashed her new ring in a photo. They've been dating for less than a year, but they seem pretty excited to spend the rest of their lives together.
Kate Hudson & Danny Fujikawa
After more than five years of dating and one adorable daughter together (Rani Rose, of course), this year was the one where Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa finally got engaged. They shared the big news in September with a sweet photo of the two of them and Kate's new engagement ring.
Britney Spears & Sam Asghari
Britney Spears has had a seriously big year in 2021. Amid her conservatorship battle, longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari popped the question, presenting her with a stunning piece of bling. Less than two months later, Britney would find out that she was finally free.
Sophia Bush & Grant Hughes
Former One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush had happy news to share in August. During a trip to Italy, Grant Hughes popped the question, and the photos of his proposal were so dreamy.

Though Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick didn't meet on The Bachelorette, they did meet because they were both on the franchise … and now, they're getting married. They announced their engagement in May, showing off some seriously gorgeous photos of Kaitlyn's ring (swipe over to see).
Adam Rippon & Jussi-Pekka Kajaala
After the pandemic kept Olympian Adam Rippon away from his Finnish boyfriend, Jussi-Pekka Kajaala, for months on end, he knew what he had to do.
"When there was finally a chance for me to go and see him in Finland, I jumped at it," Adam shared with his followers. "While I was there, I would tell him about 5 million jokes that I would want to pitch during my 5-hour Zoom meetings for our NBC comedy. Jim Edmonds & Kortnie O'Connor
After two marriages and a lot of drama with ex Meghan King, Jim Edmonds is getting ready to tie the knot again. He and Kortnie O'Connor made it official in July, though they didn't announce the news until a month later, when the bride-to-be shared a photo of her ring on Instagram.
Scheana Shay & Brock Davies
Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay is making it official with her baby daddy. Brock Davies asked her to marry him in July — and just the right amount of fanfare was involved for this reality star. On Instagram, she wrote that his proposal made her "the happiest girl in the world."
