21 Celebrities Who Got Engaged in 2021

Relationships don't always work out in Hollywood, but every now and then, we get to witness a love story play out in real time — including the part where they live happily ever after. In the past year, so many celebrities have gotten engaged (and gone on to make us totally jealous with their fancy new bling), planning to spend the rest of their lives with the person they love most in the world. So many proposals have happened in 2021 that it's hard to keep them all straight!

From the super low-key couples like Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers to the ones who have been all over the news (and all over each other) like Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, love has definitely been in the air in Hollywood this year. We're about to witness a lot of weddings, y'all!

Lindsay Lohan & Bader Shammas

Lindsay Lohan is ending the year on quite a high note. Just as the holiday season kicked off, she revealed on Instagram that her financier boyfriend, Bader Shammas, had popped the question. She announced the news with a series of adorable candid pics of the moment, putting her massive diamond ring on display for her fans to gawk at.

Jenna Cooper & Karl Hudson

In June, Bachelor in Paradise alum Jenna Cooper announced that boyfriend (and baby daddy) Karl Hudson had popped the question, sharing a gorgeous photo from their proposal on the beach that featured their daughter, Presley.

She wrote: "Easiest decision ever, and Presley agrees. Love my little family so much, and excited to marry my best friend! Karl is everything I ever wanted in a man and more. This is the best birthday, and I'm so overwhelmed with joy."

Ty Pennington & Kellee Merrell

Extreme Home Makeover star Ty Pennington announced in July that he and girlfriend Kellee Merrell were engaged by sharing a photo of his new fiancée's seriously impressive ring on Instagram, writing, "It's the ring for me." There's no doubt their wedding will be gorgeously decorated.

When Taylor Lautner marries his fiancée, they'll both be Taylor Lautner. He and Taylor Dome got engaged in November 2021, and the Twilight star shared the news along with a sweet caption about what his future wife means to him.
