Who doesn't follow at least a few celebrities on social media? Everybody does, right? And some of us actually follow celebs almost exclusively because to be honest, it gets kind of boring scrolling through endless feeds documenting people just like us doing the exact same things we're doing. It's much more interesting to see celebrities doing, well, the exact same things we're doing. Celebrities flirting with one another on social media is honestly so amusing. We put these people on pedestals, and most of the time we can assume they could easily hook up with anyone they want, but they are just people. Hailey Bieber & Shawn Mendes
Well, she was Hailey Baldwin at the time, but years ago model Hailey Bieber commented on one of Shawn Mendes' Instagram photos with a pretty straightforward solicitation. In 2013, she wrote: "Hey, Shawn Mendes, let's date so you can sing to me all day. I'm joking but not really." They did eventually go on to date briefly, though they're now both happily attached to other celebs.
Lizzo & Chris Evans
Singing sensation Lizzo has gotten flirty with Captain America star Chris Evans on more than one occasion, and he hasn't been shy about being a fan of hers either. In April 2021, she fessed up to sending Chris a DM while drunk. "Don't drink and DM, kids … for legal porpoises this is a joke," she captioned a confession on TikTok afterwards.

Well, perhaps this isn't exactly flirting, but Blake Lively clearly and publicly expressed her appreciation for the work of art that is Brad Pitt. Apparently, her hottie husband, Ryan Reynolds, conveniently failed to invite her behind the scenes when Brad filmed his cameo for Deadpool 2. We're not exactly sure how sincere this little interaction was, but it was definitely flirting — and before Nicki Minaj became a married mom, her and Eminem together didn't seem outside the realm of possibility. The two rappers might have just been poking fun at the random commenter who asked Nicki if they were dating, but either way, this was pretty flirty.

Comedians Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak have long claimed that they're just friends, but speculation about the real nature of their relationship has endured.
