Yes, 2020 is definitely a weird, difficult year to be a human — no matter what the circumstances have to be — but it's an especially strange experience to be a pregnant person, waiting to welcome a baby into the world amid COVID-19, and that goes for celebrity moms, too. For many of us, it means baby showers have been canceled, and so have birth classes, shopping in person for cute, tiny outfits, and spending time with friends and family. But some expectant celebs have still managed to find ways to celebrate the impending arrivals of their babies with the people they love most.
For some of these moms-to-be, certain circumstances were necessary to keep everyone around them safe, but they made it fun — like including coordinating face masks that matched the party's theme. Others celebrated with drive-by baby showers, which have been a huge trend this year, and some were sure to remind their guests to practice social distancing at the parties in order to follow safety guidelines that everyone should be mindful of to stay as healthy as possible right now.
Here are celebrities who have held baby showers during COVID. So many new babies were born this year — like Joy-Anna Duggar's rainbow baby and even a couple of new Bachelor babies — and their moms managed to celebrate their arrivals as best as they could, considering the circumstances. Hopefully, we'll be back to business as usual soon, but for now, it's nice to see a little bit of joy.
Brittany Nassif
Brittany Nassif — the wife of Botched plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif — celebrated her baby girl-to-be in August, keeping her guest list limited due to the pandemic. She celebrated on a boat with a small group of close family and friends, and lots of sweet treats — including pink personalized M&Ms with tiny footprints on them.
Teyana Taylor
Before singer Teyana Taylor welcomed her second child, Rue, with NBA player Iman Shumpert, the couple celebrated the addition to their family with a red-, pink-, and white-themed baby shower where they were joined by their daughter, Junie. And of course, that included plenty of photos taken in front of their impressive balloon backdrop.

After Rue's birth — at home in their bathroom, no less — Iman shared another photo of Teyana from the baby shower, giving us a glimpse of that gorgeous floral balloon arrangement and writing about how amazed he was at his wife's strength.
"I get a lot of credit at times but I literally just applaud the way she carried the weight twice, which in actuality equates to her dedicating two years of herself to add to our growing dinner reservation," he wrote.
Hannah Ferrier
As Below Deck star Hannah Ferrier awaits the arrival of her first child, she celebrated her baby shower in Australia with cupcakes, macarons, and a gorgeous photo backdrop made of balloons and flowers. "My gorgeous girlfriends threw me the most amazing baby shower," she wrote. "I am blown away daily by the people that surround me."
Eniko Hart
As Kevin Hart and his wife, Eniko, await the arrival of their second child together, they teamed up with a party planner to create a dreamy drive-by shower, including this awesome Airstream. In her caption, Eniko shared that she was going for some serious boho vibes, and their hard work definitely paid off with this gorgeous scene they created.

Eniko's shower setup included a vintage couch, flowers everywhere, a dream catcher, feathers, and plenty of seating. Best of all, everything took place outside, offering up maximum safety and comfort for the guests who dropped by to give gifts and happy wishes for Eniko and Kevin's baby girl. "I can't wait to meet our princess," Eniko wrote. "Hope you're ready to join us… we love you!"
A Family Event
It wasn't just Kevin and Eniko who made it to the shower, either. Their 2-year-old son, Kenzo, was also there — smooching his mom's belly (too cute) — as well as Kevin's kids from his previous marriage to Torrei Hart: Heaven, 15, and Hendrix, 12. As far as these photos show, it seems like everyone's pretty excited for another baby to join their fam.
Tenley Molzahn
This former Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise star is getting ready to welcome her first child with husband Taylor Leopold, and in August, they celebrated with a sweet shower — including a backdrop that said "she's magic, that girl."
"It was the most beautiful intimate evening, and we feel so loved by every hand and heart that had a part in making it happen, & that came to love on us," Tenley wrote when she shared photos from the shower.
Joy-Anna Duggar
In August, Joy-Anna Duggar welcomed her rainbow baby, Evelyn Mae Forsyth, into the world. But before she arrived, her family threw her a baby shower, which just so happened to include her many sisters and sisters-in-law. "Several weeks ago we were able to celebrate Joy and Austin and their precious baby on the way!" the family wrote on Instagram. "We are rejoicing in God’s gift of this little girl that He has graciously given their family. We can’t wait to meet her soon!!"
Friends & Gifts
Joy didn't just celebrate her baby shower with family, her BFF, Carlin Bates, even visited from out of town to be there to celebrate with her friend. Considering how long these two have been pals, it had to mean a lot to Joy to have Carlin there by her side to mark such a big moment in her life — and it looks like there were plenty of gifts, games, and photo taking opportunities to go around.

Even Joy's husband, Austin Forsyth, was able to stop by for the shower, and they posed in front of the pretty backdrop that was created for the shower — including florals, balloons, and a cute cake (the most important part of any baby shower, really). Joy's dress matched the shower decor perfectly, too, and it looks like she had a great time.
Arianny Celeste
UFC fighter Arianny Celeste has been keeping fans updated about her pregnancy with her first child, a baby boy, on Instagram, and her baby shower was no exception. In July, Arianny celebrated her baby-to-be with a "twinkle twinkle" themed shower that included candy canes, coordinating face masks, and champagne for those guests who didn't happen to be pregnant.

The attention to detail was real at Arianny's baby shower, and she showed off all the small things that came together to create one gorgeous party on her Instagram feed. There was a gorgeous moon-shaped backdrop, cupcakes, and cookies that fit the theme of "I love you to the moon and back." A thermometer and hand sanitizer were on hand, along with a sign reminding guests to practice social distancing.
Courtney Robertson
Former Bachelor star Courtney Robertson is about to welcome her first child, and in the meantime, she celebrated with a baby shower that included cake, brownies, and plenty of love from her family and friends.
