16 Celebrity Couples Who Met on Social Media

People meet on social media all the time these days. In 2022, it's definitely considered a legitimate way to not only make friends, but find romantic relationships. And believe it or not, celebrities are no exception. While it's not the most common way for celebrity couples to meet, it definitely happens — and to some pretty big stars too. Mandy Moore, Dua Lipa, and Joe Jonas are just some of the many stars who met their partners on social media apps such as Twitter and Instagram.

It actually kind of makes sense for celebrities, as long as they can verify who it actually is who's sliding into their DMs. Getting to know someone on social media eliminates a lot of the faff involved with meeting in person on multiple occasions only to discover that they're not trustworthy or don't have the best motives or intentions. Those things are huge concerns for celebs who need a certain level of privacy to be maintained.

But still, for all the times celebs must receive unsolicited messages on social media, it's pretty surprising that so many of them have ended up in real relationships thanks to social media connects.

Here, we're sharing the details on 16 celebrity couples who met on social media – and most of them are actually still together!
