For a few glorious years, Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss were the ultimate BFF goals. And then something happened, and the friendship seemed to flame out to the point where Taylor wasn't even at Karlie's wedding. But what was that something? Was Katy Perry somehow involved? We want to know, but it remains a mystery.
The Fake Melania Mystery
There were so many deeply weird moments during Donald Trump's presidency, but one of the weirdest was the persistent rumor that there was a "fake Melania Trump" who occasionally stood in for the real first lady during public events. Given that the Trumps were never the most naturally affectionate or happy seeming couple, it's possible Melania could have had a body double for hand holding duties — but nobody has been able to prove for certain that it happened.

She's never revealed who the father (or fathers) of her babies might be, which is totally her right. That said, curious fans are dying to know if one daddy possibility is her friend/former boyfriend/The Office castmate BJ Novak. We suspect this one won't be solved until her kids are much older.

Another celebrity single mom with a mystery baby daddy is Mad Men star January Jones. Her son is 9 years old, and while there has been some scandalous speculation about who his father could be, including some of January's married costars, she's never revealed a name or given any real hints.
'The Good Wife' Feud
The TV show The Good Wife was an excellent watch, partly because of the chemistry between stars Juliana Margulies and Archie Panjabi. While the two were frequent scene partners in the beginning of the series, by the end they were no longer filming any scenes together. Following an episode that appeared to have both of them in a scene but was done through a split screen, rumors of a major feud between the stars were rampant. So far, neither actress has ever addressed it, but few people can deny there was something happening behind the scenes that we'd love to get the dirt on.

When Beyoncé shocked the world with the release of her album Lemonade, we all knew one thing for sure: that clearly Jay-Z had been cheating. But we still don't know exactly who Queen B is talking about when she drags "Becky with the good hair" in her song "Sorry." We assume this is code for the woman whom Jay-Z cheated on her with, and there's been speculation about who it could be, but there are also some in Beyoncé's camp that say it's just a lyric and doesn't refer to a specific person. Speaking of Beyoncé and Jay-Z (and maybe Becky with the good hair), what really happened that night in the elevator in 2014? We know that it was the night of the Met Gala, we know Beyoncé's sister Solange laid hands on Jay-Z, and we know Beyoncé came out of the elevator looking as composed as ever. So what prompted Solange's protective sister instincts to kick in? Did it involve "Becky?" Oh, to have been a fly on that elevator wall!
What Is Happening With Princess Charlene?
Princess Charlene of Monaco has been a bit of gossip mystery since before she married Prince Albert. She was rumored to have had major cold feet before the wedding, and there has been speculation that she was almost forced into the marriage. More recently, she spent nearly six months in South Africa, away from her husband and two children for what are being called medical reasons. She recently returned to Monaco but is now said to be in a treatment center somewhere else in Europe for undisclosed reasons. While we are super curious about what's happening in that controversy-ridden marriage, we also hope Charlene is safe and getting whatever help she needs.
A Presidential Love Child?
Does former President Bill Clinton have a love child? There have been rumors for years, especially after a young man named Danney Williams publicly declared that he believed Bill to be his father. Given that there is a bit of a resemblance and that we know Bill hasn't always been the picture of faithfulness, it seems possible. Only a DNA test can say for sure!
The Missing Music
It has been more than five years since Rihanna dropped her last album, and her fans are wondering when and if she'll ever make music again. In that time, she's become a major force in the beauty and fashion space, so there are rumors that she's retired from music but never bothered to announce it. Only time will tell if we'll get any more hits from her!
A Royal Racist?
One of the many bombshells from Harry and Meghan's March 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey was that there was a senior member of the royal family who engaged in some gross speculation about what skin color baby Archie might have. Since then, royal gossip fans have wondered who that possibly racist (or at least problematic) royal might be. We do know that, according to Harry, it was not Queen Elizabeth or Prince Philip.

Who Really Released the Tape?
Part of the Kardashian family's rise to fame came from the publicity surrounding Kim Kardashian's infamous sex tape. While the official version of the story is that the tape was released without Kim's knowledge or consent, there has been speculation for years that "momager" Kris Jenner actually played a role in it, with the goal of seeing her daughter get the fame that Paris Hilton had. As the saying goes, the devil works hard but Kris Jenner works harder.

This may be one of the weirdest and most disturbing celebrity mysteries. In early 2021, a scandal exploded when multiple screenshots and text messages were released that seemed to suggest that actor Armie Hammer had some extremely dark sexual interests, including rape, torture, and, yes, cannibalism. We may never know what was fantasy and what kinds of sex acts he engaged in, but speculation continues that at least some of those messages were based in cruel reality.
