The social content sharing site OnlyFans took on a life of its own this year. It gained a ton of popularity in 2020 after Beyoncé mentioned it in one of her verses on the Megan Thee Stallion "Savage" remix, but the website captured even more attention in 2021 when it announced it would be banning sexually explicit content — exactly what it has become best known for. Shortly afterward, however, the company backtracked and announced that the ban wasn't going to happen. The drama has been real, so it's no surprise that people are curious.
Because OnlyFans seems to only be growing in popularity, it makes sense that some celebrities want to get in on the action. For those not in the know, OnlyFans is a platform on which creators can essentially post any kind of content they want and charge people a monthly fee for access to it. It can be something as simple as behind-the-scenes concert clips to racier fare such as pornographic videos. And people are making a lot of money on it! Non-celebrity creators have widely admitted that they make six figures or more from their OnlyFans content, so why wouldn't B-listers jump in for a piece of the pie?
Interestingly, a number of celebrities, including singer Chris Brown, rapper Swae Lee, and Housewives star Dorinda Medley have started OnlyFans accounts and later deleted or abandoned them. Some things just don't work out, but in any case, there are still plenty of celebrities who are really active on OnlyFans. Here are some of the stars who've been raking it in on the anything-goes social site.
Cardi B
Chart-topping rapper Cardi B is probably the biggest celebrity to start an OnlyFans (which she did in early 2021). Her intention at the time was to promote her music video for the song "WAP," and she promised that subscribers who would pay $4.99 per month would also get some behind-the-scenes info and personal anecdotes from her. However, she announced in December that she would be a founding member of Playboy's forthcoming Centerfold platform, which is set to compete with OnlyFans.
Shanna Moakler
Former Playboy bunny Shanna Moakler, the ex-wife of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, announced that she was launching an OnlyFans in June 2021. "I want to show all different facets of my life, so I'm going to be doing yoga, taking people on set, cooking — all things I like to do that's fun and do it in a sexy way," she told Page Six. Interestingly, it's free to subscribe to her page, but she evidently makes money by selling memorabilia.
Bella Thorne
Bella Thorne's acting career may not be all that lucrative, but her OnlyFans certainly has been. The former Shake It Up! star quickly racked up an initial 50,000 subscribers when she signed up for her account, earning $2 million in her first week alone by selling nude photos for $200 a pop. Many OnlyFans content creators blame the actress for the company's decision to put a cap on the amount that creators can receive for individual tips and paid posts.
Blac Chyna
As a former stripper, video girl, and reality TV star, it's no surprise that Blac Chyna ended up on OnlyFans. She reportedly earns $20 million a month from her page, on which she is known for posting foot fetish videos and photos. She currently charges subscribers $19.99 per month.
Amber Rose
Model and former video girl Amber Rose — who is also one of Kanye West's more famous exes — gets super racy on OnlyFans. She's been on the platform since the fall of 2020 and likened it to a "digital strip club" during an interview on the No Jumper podcast. Subscriptions to Amber's OnlyFans cost just $5 per month, but keep in mind that content creators can put individual posts behind a paywall on the site.
Tyga
Rapper Tyga, who is famous for being Kylie Jenner's ex-boyfriend, used to be one of OnlyFans' top earners. He reportedly posted mostly photos and videos of himself partying with nude and mostly nude women and charged subscribers $20 a month. He did so well on the platform that in the summer of 2021, he actually decided to ditch it and launch a competitor called Myystar that will exclusively offer sexual content.
Larsa Pippen
Mom of four Larsa Pippen, ex-wife of NBA legend Scottie Pippen and former best friend of one Kim Kardashian, claims to be making $10,000 per day on OnlyFans. Her page is free to subscribe to, but she offers live virtual dates in addition to an inside look at her personal life.
Lottie Moss
Lottie Moss, the little sister of supermodel Kate Moss, took her entrepreneurship to the next level when she joined OnlyFans in 2021. She had previously sold nude photos of herself online for high sums but decided to monetize herself even further on OF. "I'm just taking fun pictures you'd send to your boyfriend. It's fine, it's harmless, it's not hurting anyone," she said of her content on Jamie Laing's podcast, Private Parts.
Tyler Posey
Actor and singer Tyler Posey joined OnlyFans early in 2021 and quickly became one of its most popular content creators. He posts a lot of nude and semi-nude photos, but he also uses the platform to raise money for charities and important causes. He's also admitted to still being baffled by the whole thing. "It's weird — it feels stupid, I feel like an object. I'm still figuring out my footing in it, and we'll see where it goes," he told E! News. Right now, he's charging subscribers $5 a month.
Sonja Morgan
Real Housewives of New York City star Sonja Morgan, who is in her late 50s, has had a lot of success on OnlyFans. She shares exclusive photos and videos of herself, as well as some behind-the-scenes content from various appearances and events she does. Access costs subscribers $4.99 per month.
Aaron Carter
Troubled former child star Aaron Carter joined OnlyFans in early 2020, promising fans NSFW and explicit content. He charges subscribers $15 per month, as well as pricey fees for access to "locked" photos. His page currently has more than 58,000 likes.
Tana Mongeau
YouTube star Tana Mongeau joined OnlyFans in mid-2020 and quickly became a top earner. She says she's raked in $6 million on the platform, which prompted her to launch a second OnlyFans account, which she now uses as a vlog. "All of the puking, swearing, drinking, nudity, and more …" reads the account description.
Jordyn Woods
Jordyn Woods, ex-bestie of Kylie Jenner, has continued to expand her social media influence by joining OnlyFans, where she posts what she once described as "iconic" photos. "I just felt like the bigger picture is that it can be a space for people to be on there, to not be judged, and to be authentic to ourselves," she told Complex. Subscriptions are free, but Jordyn does post "locked" content available for a fee.
DJ Khaled & Fat Joe
Best buds and hip-hop stars Fat Joe and DJ Khaled launched a joint OnlyFans in January 2021. "The page for fans to get exclusive motivational and inspirational content, where we will be guiding fans to the light while sharing uplifting insights and behind-the-scenes of our personal lives," reads the description on their page, which is free to subscribe but presumably offers some paid content.
Erica Mena
Reality TV star Erica Mena has had an OnlyFans for a while, and she's very active on the platform. She launched her account in the summer of 2020 with a steamy teaser featuring her now-estranged husband, rapper Safaree Samuels. Erica charges subscribers $25.99 per month, plus whatever additional paid content they choose to purchase.
