From A-listers like Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones to younger celebrities including NeNe Leakes, there are a lot of Hollywood residents who blow our minds when we find out they have grandchildren of their own.

Though we know Jim Carrey as the comedian who brought us hilarious movies such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Bruce Almighty, there are little ones out there who simply know him as grandpa. His daughter, Jane, has a son named Jackson, and Jim has spoken about their bond in interviews before.
“I do [play video games with him], and he humiliates me. He not only does that but he trash talks me the entire time. I put money in the curse jar, I keep doing that. I think I owe him about 500 bucks,” he told Lorraine.
Lauryn Hill
Though she’s only 46, Lauryn Hill is also a proud grandmother. Her oldest son, Zion Marley, has a son of his own, Zephaniah, who Lauryn seems to adore, if her Instagram post in honor of his fourth birthday in February 2021 was any indication. Too cute!
Pierce Brosnan
Yep, James Bond is a grandpa. too! Pierce Brosnan has three grandchildren, and as he told the Irish Independent in 2015, he’s loving every minute of it.
“I’m a proud grandfather now. There’s still a lot of life in the old man, and I’ll keep going till I can go no more. Life is so precious. It can be snatched away without any prior warning, so why waste it? That’s why I enjoy my wonderful, beautiful family, my children and my grandchildren,” he said.
