Chris Pratt recently shared a relatable parenting moment that his fans were not exactly prepared for. On Tuesday, January 28, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor took to Instagram to share a photo of his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, holding their son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt. Chris Pratt wrote a simple caption for the messy situation.

“S— happens,” he wrote. Needless to say, some fans were quite shocked to see the photo in their Instagram feeds. “Bro I just opened the app,” one person commented on the photo. “We call that a blowout!” another person wrote.

For many parents, the photo was super relatable.

Though it looked a little gross, many parents could relate to the mess and some even felt a bit nostalgic.

“Omg! I remember those days …” a fan commented. “And 11 years later, I wish they were that size again.”

Another person called it “the most relatable picture.”

A third fan noted that the photo is the perfect representation of what “real parenting” looks like.

Chris and Katherine welcomed Ford in November 2024.

They shared the exciting news in a joint Instagram post on November 11. “We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt. Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful,” the couple said at the time.

They try to keep their kids out of the spotlight.

Chris and Katherine are also parents to Lyla Maria, was born in August 2020, and Eloise Christina, who they welcomed in May 2022. Chris also shares son Jack, who was born in August 2012, with his ex-wife Anna Faris. Katherine frequently shares photos of her kiddos on social media, but their faces aren’t visible in the pictures. She previously explained that giving their kids a sense of “privacy” is important to her and Chris.

Chris previously said watching Katherine be a mother makes him fall ‘more and more in love.’

“Witnessing you be a mom to Lyla and Eloise and a stepmom to Jack makes me fall more and more in love with you every day,” Chris wrote in a message to Katherine in May 2024. “The 24/7 job of scheduling, transporting, loving, nurturing, managing calendars, planning activities, the nutrition, the boundaries, the rules, the patience, the gentleness, the firmness, the wisdom, and grace. It’s truly a marvel.”
