Chrissy Teigen Shares the First Photo of Her New Baby Girl, Revealing Her Unique Name

Chrissy Teigen is a new mom all over again! On Thursday, Chrissy announced that her new baby has arrived — a little girl. She took to Instagram to share the first photo of the newest addition to her family with husband John Legend, along with revealing her unusual name.

Chrissy shared a photo of Luna and Miles holding their new little sister.

Along with the photo of her older children, Luna, 6, and Miles, 4, looking adoringly at their little sis, Chrissy announced that they'd chosen to name her Esti Maxine.

"She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens — the house is bustling and our family could not be happier," she wrote. "Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes — we feel it all!"

John shared his own thoughts about his new daughter, too.

In a post on his Instagram account that included the same photo of all three of his children together, John wrote: "On Friday, we welcomed Esti Maxine Stephens to our family, and our house is overflowing with love and joy. I’m in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience and I’m so thrilled to see how Luna and Miles embrace their baby sister. I’m so, so grateful, but that doesn’t seem like a big enough word."

Reports that Chrissy had given birth first surfaced over the weekend.

Insiders told People magazine that John had announced to guests at a private concert he hosted that their new baby had arrived on January 13, and as it turns out, that intel was correct.

At the time, the newly minted dad of three shared that he "didn't get a lot of sleep" and had been spending time with Chrissy at the hospital.

This baby arrives after John and Chrissy suffered a stillbirth in September 2020.

Chrissy and John lost a baby boy, who they named Jack, when she was 20 weeks pregnant. Later, Chrissy revealed that she'd actually required a lifesaving abortion at the time.

"I told the world we had a miscarriage, the world agreed we had a miscarriage, all the headlines said it was a miscarriage. And I became really frustrated that I didn’t, in the first place, say what it was, and I felt silly that it had taken me over a year to actually understand that we had had an abortion," she said at a Propper Daley panel last year.

Now, it looks like the new family of five is settling in at home.

According to her Instagram Stories, she's been getting back to some of her favorite hobbies: Eating snacks, cooking up yummy food, and watching lots of reality TV.

We hope this means that Chrissy is recovering well and that baby Esti is doing well, too. Congrats!
