Now that her divorce from Josh Hall is officially settled, Christina Haack has some things to say about it. Their split was very public and contentious, and according to the HGTV star, it has had a pretty significant impact on Josh’s reputation. Christina opened up about the divorce settlement on the Monday, June 2, episode of SiriusXMāsĀ Jeff Lewis Live.
The settlement is reportedly ‘not great.’
Christina declined to share details about her divorce settlement. Though she didn’t seem super happy with the results, she rejoiced in the fact that “itās done” now. At this point, she’s not sure how many details she can share with the public, but she assured those who are curious that she’ll spill the details when she can.
“I don’t know if Iām allowed to talk about it,” the Flip or Flop star said. “Itāll be in the doc soon. Itāll be public knowledge in a few. I think Iāll come back next month, and then we can talk about everything thatās public knowledge.”
She spoke about how the divorce affected Josh’s reputation.
While she couldn’t share much about the actual divorce settlement, she did share some details about her ex. Apparently, someone approached his mom at a yoga class to tell her that her son is problematic. “His mom was at yoga and while she was doing her yoga poses, a fellow yogian said, āYour son is a thief,ā during yoga class,” Christina claimed. “It kinda made me laugh.”
She added that her ex seemed upset by how the divorce tarnished his reputation. “His reputation got hurt or whatever ācause you know, he was a reality TV star before me, and now he canāt be a reality TV star anymore because nobody likes him,” she said.
Christina celebrated her ‘freedom’ in a recent social media post.
But fans couldn’t decide whether Christina was expressing support for the Republican Party or celebrating her divorce. In the photo she shared on June 2, she was wearing red, which is a rarity for her. “Never been a red girl until now. Feels like freedom. ā¤ļø š,” Christina captioned the post.
Some fans who commented on the post accused Christina of supporting President Donald Trump.
“Red as in MAGA š¤,” one person commented on the post.
“If it’s a MAGA thing, it’s terribly unattractive,” another person wrote. “And pretty much shows that you aren’t very smart.”
A third chimed in, “Ugh red looks great in you but if you align yourself with Trump good luck !”
A fourth fan commented, “Hopefully it means you are coming to the Red side.”
However, Christina seemed to confirm that the “freedom” she spoke of was not related to Donald Trump, and was instead a reference to her divorce.
One fan wrote, “Guys, itās not political. Sheās free from her a-hole ex. And enough of the hate about her and men.” Christina replied directly to the comment, writing, “finally someone gets it.”
Christina and Josh were married for nearly three years.
Josh and Christina separated in July 2024. Now, both of the exes have moved on. Christina is now dating Christopher Larocca. Since she’s been known to jump into new relationships very quickly, she previously asserted that she would not get married again in the future. However, it seems as though she’s changed her mind.
Though she’s been divorced three times now, she feels that her divorce from Josh shouldn’t really count. “Actually, you know what? I’m actually identifying as only twice divorced now. It’s official,” she said.
