Christina Haack has vowed to not get married again after going through three divorces in less than 10 years. Though the 41-year-old HGTV star says another marriage is not in her future, she is dating again. Christina started dating her current boyfriend, Christopher Larocca, months after her third ex-husband, Josh Hall, filed for divorce. Christopher even appeared on The Flip Off.
During the final episode of the season, guest judge Jeff Lewis asked Christina if she really has to marry everyone she dates.
There seems to be a common pattern in Christina’s life: Shortly after getting divorced, she starts dating again. On more than one occasion, her post-divorce relationships have progressed very quickly, leading to marriage. For example, Christina and her second husband, Ant Anstead, finalized their divorce in June 2021. In March 2021, Christina started dating Josh. Several months later, in September 2021, Christina announced their engagement.
During the season finale of The Flip Off, Jeff Jeff questioned Christina’s tendency to get married shortly after getting divorced. “You know, obviously you’re a very attractive, successful woman,” Jeff said to Christina, per People. “I’m sure you’re going to date a lot … Do we have to marry them all?”
Christina seemed to agree with Jeff’s assessment. “No, no,” she responded. “No more marriages.”
In spite of this claim, her boyfriend appeared on the episode.
Although Christina hasn’t gotten married again, she did seem to move on pretty quickly after her split from Josh. Christina’s third ex-husband filed for divorce in July 2024. Though she and her current boyfriend didn’t make their relationship Instagram official until February 2025, they were spotted together months before that, suggesting they might’ve been together for some time.
While watching the season finale of The Flip Off, some fans spotted Christopher among the group of people supporting Christina’s team. He didn’t speak to Christina on camera. Instead, he stayed in the background and blended in with the group of people who gathered to see who had won the competition.
Tarek and Heather El Moussa have also poked fun at Christina’s marriages.
In a clip shared on February 2, Christina’s first ex-husband, Tarek, and his current wife, Heather, presented Christina with an “anti-marriage contract.” Using audio that said, “Count one, guilty. Count two, guilty. Count three, guilty,” Heather showed Christina photos of each of her ex-husbands.
“This case has too many defendants,” Heather captioned the video.
Christina has acknowledged the problematic pattern.
On The Flip Off, Christina admitted that she tends to jump into relationships too quickly. She feels as though she’s made “stupid” decisions to cope with some of the challenges she’s faced.
“I feel like I try to hide and act like I’m not affected but then I just do more stupid things to try to make myself feel better,” she explained. “I just keep doing it and getting into things too fast that I know aren’t right.”
Even though she’s now gone through three divorces, she said she “never wanted to get divorced” and is “the only person in my family to ever get a divorce.”
“So I just felt like it’s safe to be back in a relationship,” she admitted. “But ultimately, that was not safe either.”
