Christina Hall Resorts to Extreme & Unconventional Treatments for Mercury & Lead Poisoning

Former Flip or Flop star Christina Hall is on the road to recovery after being diagnosed with mercury and lead poisoning. The Christina in the Country star explained how she found a path to wellness during an interview with E! News, detailing all the different things she's tried to feel better — some of them rather extreme.

Christina shared in the interview how she was already feeling '75% better.'

The mother of three opened up about the health struggles she's been documenting on Instagram.

"I'm just really focused on doing a cleanse right now, eating super clean," she shared. "I'm doing supplement detox and there's a local wellness place nearby where I've been doing hyperbaric chambers and IVs."

Things hadn't been going so great for the reality star for a while there.

Despite having had a great 2022 — Christina did get to marry her new love Joshua Hall — something wasn't quite right with her health.

The reality renovator visited an alternative wellness and medical facility, where she was told she had "energetic imbalances" that may have been caused by her work demolishing old and dilapidated homes.

She initially shared her diagnosis with fans through her Instagram Stories.

According to what she told fans last month, Christina's doctors blamed her profession for her ills.

"My scan said I have mercury and lead poisoning," she wrote. "Most likely from all the gross houses I've been in (all the bad flips)."

She also announced that she planned to address the "small intestine bacteria overgrowth" that had occurred as soon as possible.

Christina wants her story to serve as a warning for others.

"If people aren’t feeling well, take a look at your diet or what you're putting into your body or lack of exercise," she said in the interview with E!. "It’s hard to show up and work hard or be a great parent or feel present when you don't feel great."

So true!

If an old pro like Christina can get this sick doing these home renovations, it could be even easier for novice homeowners to make a mistake and expose themselves to something that could be harmful.

If something feels off, it might be a good idea to follow Christina's example by getting checked out. And remember to always use precaution when dealing with any home remodeling.
