Christina Hall Gets Wedding Ring Tattoo Removed Amid Split From Josh Hall

HGTV star Christina Hall is ready to move on from her estranged husband Josh Hall, and it looks like she's making sure she won't forget to remove a single trace of him in her life while she does it. This week, Christina shared the process of getting the tattoo on her wedding finger removed after returning from a relaxing vacation with her kids. It looks like she's truly ready for this fresh start.

Christina shared a video of the moment on her Instagram Stories.

In the video that she shared to her Instagram Stories on Monday, a laser is hard at work removing the ink from her finger.

Christina tagged the doctor assisting her in the removal, thanking the office of plastic surgeon Jonathan Zelken for "always taking care of me."

Christina and Josh may have gotten matching tattoos around the time of their engagement in 2022.

Outlets, including Page Six, have shared photos of Josh's ring finger between their engagement and their wedding day, and he appeared to have an infinity sign tattooed on his ring finger. It seems like Christina likely had a matching design on hers — one that could no longer be hidden if she wasn't wearing her rings.

Josh filed for divorce in July.

According to court documents obtained by People, Josh cited "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for their divorce, listing their date of separation as July 8, 2024 — three months shy of their third wedding anniversary.

Their split has been a contentious one so far.

Days after Josh filed for divorce, Christina posted a response to his request for spousal support.

"I have worked my a– off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/ what they did NOT work for should be ashamed," she wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time, reported People. "An insecure man with a large ego can sure try and derail you- but 'still i rise' …"

Christina seems to be moving on.

Aside from the tattoo removal, Christina seems to be keeping herself busy with girls' weekends, salon appointments, and, most recently, tropical vacations with her kids.

Next up? Her new HGTV series, The Flip Off, where she'll compete against ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae Young in a house-flipping competition.
