Christina Ricci has never been one to keep her opinions to herself, and that definitely isn’t changing now. During a discussion about Joe Rogan and his controversial podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, that took place on social media, Christina chimed in with her take. It was a very short response, but it definitely got her point across, and people are loving her honesty.
Christina had three little words to share, but they said so much.
Threads user @everydayisjuneteeth posted about Joe and his podcast earlier this week, writing, “Shoutout to anyone who has NEVER listened to the Joe Rogan podcast!”
After seeing this post, Christina clearly felt compelled to reply. She responded, “I’d rather die.”
Well, that sums up the way a lot of people feel about Joe Rogan and his podcast, which has been widely criticized for spreading toxic and problematic messaging. If that’s really how Christina feels, she’s in good company, and plenty of people had to share how much they agreed with her.
People are obsessed with her response.
People are all over the app proclaiming their love for Christina and how succinctly she worded her distaste for Joe Rogan.
“The OG Wednesday, still dropping those one liners,” one person wrote (which is true — a grown up Wednesday Addams would say exactly this about Joe Rogan).
Many people let her know that they agreed with her opinion, including one who did not miss an opportunity to make a Fear Factor reference: “Makes two of us. He should have been left in a tank filled with tarantulas when he still had hair. I won’t be changing my mind.”
Remember when Joe was just the Fear Factor guy? It was a simpler time.
One person even got a reply from Christina herself. After they posted, “You having no chill is the best thing of this sh—- f—ing timeline,” she wrote back, “I seriously have no chill.”
She’s right — she does not have any chill, but that’s also not a bad thing!
She’s known for being outspoken, especially when it comes to what she believes in.
Christina sharing her thoughts about Joe Rogan so candidly is really something we all should have expected to happen sooner or later, judging by how openly she’s spoken about politics in the past, especially when it comes to the current presidential administration and everyone connected to it.
In fact, just days later, she also let Andrew Tate have it after he was arrested in the UK on new rape and trafficking charges.
Replying to someone who wrote, “Andrew Tate got arrested in clam diggers and a going out top,” she added, “Wearing his Friday night pants!”
Oh, Christina. Please never change. At times like this, we need you and your comebacks most.
