Christine Brown was the first of Kody Brown‘s wives to walk away from their plural marriage, and now, she’ll also be the first to write about this chapter of her life. The Sister Wives star is releasing a tell-all book this fall, and from the details we already have about Christine’s new project, it sounds like it’s going to be a juicy one.

Christine’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, has shared the first details of her book, though the cover is not yet available. Due to be released on September 16, 2025, the book is titled Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family, and Finding Freedom.
According to the publisher’s description, it will be a “groundbreaking and heartfelt memoir” that follows Christine’s journey to leave her family and religion and start a new life for herself.
“Becoming Kody Brown’s third wife in 1994, Christine finally found the big, happy family she had hoped for. When TLC’s hit show Sister Wives premiered in 2010, Christine knew it was her chance to shine a light on the brighter side of polygamy — the helping hands, the lively discussions, and their unmatched devotion to each other,” says the description. “But the cameras also revealed a much darker truth.”

The synopsis continues, “Now, in this candid tell-all, Christine shares for the first time the journey that led her away from the [Mormon] church and the bold path she is carving to live apart from all she has ever known. Moving, genuine, and insightful, this is a uniquely powerful tour de force of Christine’s journey toward and beyond her time in the spotlight as a sister wife.”
So far, Christine hasn’t announced the news of her upcoming book herself, but hopefully, she will share all the details with fans soon.
In the meantime, it seems like this won’t be the only tell-all we can expect from Kody’s former wives. As The Ashley’s Reality Roundup Pointed out, Meri has said that she’s planning to write one of her own.
In December, Meri told fans who tuned into her TikTok Live that “writing is happening.”
“You’re going to get my truth and there are going to be things that will be painful,” she said, according to The Ashley. “Yes, people love the drama … there will be things that I have no doubt that, when some of my family members read it, will be painful for them but it will be my truth … I might talk pain and experience and what did I learn from it … so that’s how I tell my story.”
Kody better buckle up. Something tells us he and Robyn aren’t going to like this …
