Sister Wives star Christine Brown seems to be enjoying life with her husband David Woolley, but a recent trip they took “wasn’t exactly smooth sailing” for her. Christine, who was previously married to Kody Brown for 25 years, married David in 2023. However, the couple only recently went on their honeymoon.

Christine explained why she and her husband went on their honeymoon a year after tying the knot.
If Christine’s honeymoon seems delayed, that’s because it was. The Sister Wives star previously explained that she and David were simply waiting for the right time to take the trip.
“We are finally on our honeymoon!! Yep, a year later, we just decided to take our time and go when we were ready. We LOVE Barcelona! The architecture, food and people!!” Christine wrote in a post she shared on November 4.
She also shared several highlights from their trip.
As she and David traveled, Christine shared several updates via Instagram. The couple went on a cruise and stopped in various cities in Europe. In one post, she called her honeymoon “a trip of a lifetime.”

'Our Honeymoon was a dream of a vacation,' Christine wrote.
When planning their honeymoon, Christine “did a ton of research.” However, “once I got to each place, I realized how little I still knew and how little I still understood.” Reflecting on the romantic getaway, Christine said, “Our Honeymoon was a dream of a vacation. David and I travel so similar. We both love architecture, nature and local restaurants and shops. And we LOVE being tourists!”
One aspect of the trip 'wasn’t exactly smooth sailing' for Christine, but served as a teachable moment.
On November 25, Christine shared a video of one aspect of her trip that challenged her but also reminded her why it can be good to step outside of your comfort zone. “We explored the beautiful seafront in Cassis and toured the Calanques National Forest by boat. The views were absolutely stunning — truly something you have to see to believe,” Christine wrote.
However, she unfortunately experienced seasickness during the trip. Though that aspect of the journey was unpleasant for her, she still felt like the trip was “worth it.”
“Even so, it was worth it to experience something so unique and breathtaking,” Christine explained. “If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend it. It’s a good reminder that sometimes, stepping outside your comfort zone can lead to some pretty unforgettable memories.”
In 2022, Christine revealed that she was no longer interested in polygamy.
After splitting from Kody Brown in 2021, Christine shared that she was seeking a monogamous relationship. In August 2022, she told People, “I want a partnership. I want a guy who actually loves me and wants to be with me intimately.”
“I will be a monogamist from here on out. Polygamy is not for me anymore,” she added at the time.
Describing her ideal partner, she said that an “adventurous [partner] would be great. Someone who just wants to try new things because now I’m into trying new things all the time. I just want to have fun all the time.”
Based on the videos of her honeymoon that she’s shared, it looks like Christine found what she was looking for.
