Collin Gosselin’s Siblings ‘Treated Him Terribly’ During Jon & Kate’s Custody Battle

Things haven't improved any between Collin Gosselin and the rest of his famous family after the 18-year-old spoke out about his relationship with his mother and siblings last year. A source close to the former reality star says it's been years since they've had any contact, and it sounds like their relationship was pretty grim even before that.

A source spoke with InTouch Weekly about the family divide.

Things have been bad for a while between Collin and six of his seven brothers and sisters. "None of the kids have even spoken to Collin in five years," an insider shared. "And even in 2018, when they had a mandatory visitation, the other kids treated him terribly."

Collin and his sister Hannah both lived with their father after their parents' messy divorce, and fortunately, it sounds like their relationship has remained intact.

This hasn't been easy on Collin as he's struggled over the years.

The source called Collin "a great kid" before adding that he "has been through h—."

"[He] has worked very hard with Jon's help to get to where he is today," the person continued.

Collin is just one of eight kids who were born into fame, thanks to their family's TLC series Jon & Kate Plus 8, and his other siblings — Leah, Alexis, Joel, Aaden, Mady, and Cara — seem to have mainly sided with their mom after their parents' split, leaving Collin and Hannah out in the cold.

Collin has briefly opened up about how painful this has all been.

He spoke to Entertainment Tonight in November 2022, sharing how long it's been since he's had any type of relationship with the rest of his family.

"I have not spoken with my siblings in probably five or six years now," he admitted at the time. "It's tough."

Collin seems open to a reconciliation.

Despite all the hurt, it seems Collin still wants his family in his life. "I would love for us to come together one day, have dinner together, talk, just have a relationship and catch up on the things that we lost, the time that we lost," he said at the time.

We can't help but feel badly for Collin, who was just a child when his family fell apart.

At least he'll always have Hannah to count on.

The rest of his siblings may have been giving both him and Hannah the cold shoulder, but Collin says his bond with his sister remains unbreakable.

"I would do anything for my sister," he shared, adding that talking to her makes his day. "I love her to death."

We're glad that Collin and Hannah have one another to rely on. Hopefully as the years go on, the pair can reunite with their siblings and finally put all of this old family drama to rest.
