In a move that's reminiscent of the beloved Monica Geller from Friends, Courteney Cox made fans laugh by showing up at her Hollywood Walk of Fame star armed with a rag and some spray cleaner. The actress was filmed buffing her newly earned star (as well as the stars of some of her famous friends) in a hilarious new clip.

The video was shared on Courteney's Instagram.
As Dolly Parton's classic "9 to 5" tune plays, Courteney can be spotted vigorously cleaning her star while chastising the people who just walked across the tribute plaque before she got there and yelling, "You can go around!" to a few passersby.
"Someone's got to do it," she captioned her video.
Courteney's star wasn't the only one that got the Monica Geller treatment.
The camera then follows her as she beelines over to the stars belonging to fellow BFFs and Walk of Famers Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, and Jennifer Aniston to make sure that their spots are shining just as brightly as her own.
Courteney's followers jokingly drew comparisons between her and her on-screen alter ego.
"I'm Monica. I wash my star 17 times a day, even if people are on it," one person wrote.
The star shouldn't have been too dirty considering Courteney was only recently given the high honor.
She was joined by Friends costar Lisa Kudrow and Laura Dern and Jennifer Aniston at the February 27 ceremony celebrating her star being added to the walk by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Page Six reported that her remaining Friends costars — Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer — didn't make it to the event.
Although this seemed like a throwback to Courteney's stint as Monica, it was actually about something else.
The 58-year-old actress was evidently showing off her new line of cleaning products, Homecourt. And what better place to do an impromptu product plug than bustling Hollywood Boulevard?
We can't imagine how Courteney makes time for it all. In addition to launching her brand (and obviously getting her long-awaited star), the mother of one is also reappearing in the Scream franchise. She's a busy lady!

We hope Courteney continues to revive old characters to promote her projects.
We're sure she could put Monica to work on a whole host of other brand partnerships. Actually, having Monica sponsor a cleaning line is probably the one Friends rock that the series' stars have left unturned.
We hope execs are taking note of just how popular Courteney's video has been. With more than a million likes, she's obviously onto something!
