Daniel Radcliffe Spotted Babywearing Newborn at the Actors’ Strike

This celebrity dad can stand up for what he believes in and care for his newborn baby at the same time! This week, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe was spotted at the SAG-AFTRA actors' strike while babywearing his newborn. He's already teaching him what really matters in his family!

Daniel was photographed on the picket line.

Here, we can see Daniel marching alongside partner Erin Darke with his newborn strapped to his chest.

Of course, some commenters on this Instagram post were a bit concerned about the way that Daniel had put on his baby wrap, but in those early days of parenthood, it can take a while to get a hang of it. He's getting there!

This is the first time we're getting a look at his new baby.

Even though Daniel is one of the most recognizable celebrities out there, thanks to the title role he played in the massive Harry Potter franchise, he's managed to keep a much more private life since then, even while continuing to act. That seems to extend to his family, so it's no surprise this is the first time we're seeing his little one — and that he was certain to make sure the baby's face was covered.

Daniel became a dad for the first time in April.

It wasn't until an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this month that he confirmed his new baby is a boy.

"It's great. It's crazy and intense, but he's wonderful and Erin is amazing — it's a real privilege also to have this time with him," the new dad said. "I was always going to take some time off, which not everyone is able to do, and so I'm able to kind of just be here with him a lot, which is lovely."

He plans to work a bit less while his son is so young.

"I think it certainly will. It hasn't really yet affected things, but I really like spending time with him, and I think I'm gonna miss him when I go back to work later in the year," he said. "So, I will definitely be I think a bit more selective — not more selective, I've always been selective, but I think I'll probably work a little bit less for the next few years."

And we have to admit that we love that he was the one wearing the baby on the picket line — we know Erin must be spending a lot of time holding and wearing that kid these days.

Now, if only his baby boy knew exactly how cool his dad is.
