Dax Shepard is setting the rumors straight — he and his wife, Kristen Bell, are not swingers! The 49-year-old comedian and 44-year-old actress have been married for over a decade, but they don't have any plans of bringing any other couples into their mix. Appearing on the September 9 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, he addressed the rumors. “The most exciting tabloid story was that we were Hollywood swingers,” he said of himself and Kristen. “We were swingers and we hosted swing parties. This was in the tabloids.”

Their friends had a lot of fun with the rumors.
“My favorite part of that happening was we got a lot of texts from other friends of ours saying, ‘How could you not have invited me to the swinger party?’” Dax continued. “And they were joking, of course, because they know us, and they know we’re not hosting swinger parties. It was great to receive a text from [Jimmy] Kimmel saying, ‘My feelings are quite hurt that Molly and I weren’t invited to this swingers party.’”
The couple hasn't crossed that line.
Although Dax acknowledged that there are some couples who are good-looking, he and Kristen haven't stepped into that world. "And to fully set the record straight, there’s a lot of hot couples out there, but we haven’t crossed that divide with anyone," he said.

Dax and Kristen look up to one Hollywood couple.
Dax and Kristen do, however, have a Hollywood couple that they admire. “You know who we’re most in love with? We’re in love with Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen,” he shared. “They’re so dreamy as a couple. You just kind of want to be in their marriage.”
A source claims the couple started the rumor about themselves.
