Dr. Mai Kaga, who works in aesthetics and concierge medicine, has taken to her Instagram account to try and set some things straight for those wondering online about Kris Jenner’s recent plastic surgery. It should be said that she wasn’t her doctor, but she could be considered something of an expert in her field and she shares her opinions on aesthetics on her Instagram page.
In the video, Dr. Kaga speaks out about how Kris didn’t need to hide her $300,000 facelift behind “layers and layers of photoshop” the past several months because the illusion seems to be crashing down all around her now.
She comments on how most of what people were taking in throughout those first few months after Kris’ facelift was all photo editing, but now that she’s been appearing at a few events and real photos have surfaced, people can see that she looks like a “beautiful, young well maintained 70-year-old, not the filtered version that went viral.”
Reportedly, Kris is “raging” that her facelift is already “slipping” away.
According to RadarOnline.com, the bonafide “momager” is said to be “raging” that her $300,000 facelift is already “slipping,” seeing as she just went under the knife under a year ago.
Kris reportedly had surgery sometime in early 2025 by celebrity surgeon, Dr. Steven M. Levine, who’s widely known as the “facelift maestro.” When Kris stepped out for the first time since her facelift, most onlookers were in awe because she looked dramatically younger, but things have recently started feeling different for her.
An insider close to Jenner who spoke to RadarOnline.com said, “Kris Jenner’s facelift is already slipping. She is not happy with the results and is desperate to get a revision – she feels it has not held the way she expected.”
This has come out after a San Antonio-based plastic surgeon publicly questioned the authenticity of Jenner’s appearance in photos following her plastic surgery as he suggested that “digital manipulation” could have played a role in why the transformation looked so amazing, per RadarOnline.com.
Online critics can’t seem to get over paying that much for a facelift and continuing to edit all your photos.
The comments section in Dr. Mai Kaga’s Instagram post is chock-full of online critics who really can’t seem to fathom paying all that money for a facelift only to continue to filter the heck out of every single photo you post.
One person shared, “Paying $300k for a facelift then continue to heavily filter your photos is wild.” Another person credited the cruel modern times we’re living in and what they’ve done to society’s unrealistic standards. “Photoshop has ruined reality, and here the reality is that she’s a beautiful 70 year old who has had a facelift and filters etc can only go so far. She should just be happy she’s healthy,” they wrote. This is a very good point.
Another person in the Instagram comments couldn’t help but point out the obvious that photoshopping tends to run in the Kardashian family. “It’s the entire family with tons of photoshop,” they commented.
There’s also something to be said about leaving well enough alone. One person commented, “Let’s normalize aging gracefully. We can all be beautiful women at any age.” We wholeheartedly agree!
