Taylor Swift is typically one celebrity you don’t want to mess with, but despite how vocally she’s opposed him in the past, it seems like former President Donald Trump wants to take a stab at it anyway. On Sunday night, the presidential candidate shared a post on Truth Social that was filled with AI-generated images of Taylor and her fans supposedly showing their endorsement for him. And considering Taylor’s reputation for being protective of her image and her fans, karma might be coming for the former president.

The post features several fake images.
In one, an AI-generated face that (kind of) looks like Taylor has been superimposed on an Uncle Sam-style poster that reads “Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.”
Other images in the post include young women and girls wearing “Swifties for Trump” T-shirts.
“I accept!” he wrote alongside the images.
Fans are not at all impressed.
Many Swifties took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts, and more than one seems to think that the businessman may be facing a lawsuit from Taylor and her team for spreading the images that featured her likeness as if they were real.
Some of them have already joked about her notoriously no-nonsense publicist, Tree Paine, already being on the case.
“I would not wish the wrath of Tree Paine on my worst enemy. This will be his undoing,” one person wrote.
Taylor has made it clear that she doesn't support his policies.
Ahead of the 2020 presidential election, Taylor told V magazine that she planned to “proudly vote” for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
“The change we need most is to elect a president who recognizes that people of color deserve to feel safe and represented, that women deserve the right to choose what happens to their bodies, and that the LGBTQIA+ community deserves to be acknowledged and included,” she said at the time. “Everyone deserves a government that takes global health risks seriously and puts the lives of its people first. The only way we can begin to make things better is to choose leaders who are willing to face these issues and find ways to work through them.”

She has also addressed the former president directly.
In May 2020, Taylor tagged him in a tweet, calling him out for the way he responded to protesters after the death of George Floyd, an unarmed Black man who was murdered by white police officer Derek Chauvin.
“After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November,” she wrote.
He is aware of Taylor's stance against him.
At least, he was in 2018, when he told reporters that he liked Taylor’s music “about 25% less” after she endorsed Democratic candidates running for office in her home state of Tennessee.
It should be interesting to see how this situation continues to unfold. Something tells us Taylor isn’t going to let this one go.
