This year is a big one when it comes to Duggar babies. Not only did Jed and Katey Duggar welcome their twins last month, but we know that Jinger and Hannah are also expecting. Who will be the next from the 19 Kids and Counting family to announce? If the latest fan theory is correct, it could be Maddie and Jason Duggar — especially after Maddie seemed to drop a hint in her Instagram Stories this week.

It all started ahead of a doctor’s appointment this week.
On Tuesday, Maddie posted that she was on her way to get bloodwork done, though she was feeling a bit stressed about it.
“Does anyone else get as nervous as a chihuahua to get blood work done or is it just me?” she asked her followers in the since-expired post, via Reddit. “I’ve heard some people ENJOY it??? I can’t imagine but I love that for you.”
This sparked speculation that Maddie is already expecting.
“They’ve been married since October I wouldn’t doubt if there is a baby on the way any time soon. It’s the Duggars what do you expect?” one commenter wrote.
“Either Maddie is indeed pregnant or it’s clickbait for engagement as she is a wannabe influencer,” another said.
Of course, there are a lot of other reasons she might be getting bloodwork done.
Many times, it’s part of a routine annual physical exam, and as commenters pointed out, she might suffer from a condition (other than pregnancy) that would require her to get her blood tested on a regular basis.
And when it comes to a fear of getting bloodwork done (and of needles in general), Maddie is hardly alone — it’s a pretty common phobia, but something that’s necessary for just about everyone every once in awhile.

Not that long ago, Maddie said she was ‘thankfully’ not pregnant yet.
Back in November, Maddie responded to a comment on social media speculating that she was already expecting a little over one month after tying the knot with Jason, and at that point, it sounded like that may not be in their plans for awhile.
But then again, plans change …
Fortunately, Maddie’s blood work seems to have gone well.
In a follow-up post on her Instagram Stories, Maddie shared another selfie to let her followers know how it went. “I survived,” she wrote, adding a laughing emoji. “She did so good, it didn’t hurt, and it was so fast!”
Glad to hear it! Maybe next time, she won’t be so freaked out by the prospect.
