Those who watched 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On on TLC already know that the kids in the Duggar family are all about going barefoot — even the girls! The Duggar sisters normally shared shoes growing up, and most of those shoes were flats. We're not sure if this has more to do with modesty or the fact that high heels can often be downright impractical, but as the ladies have gotten older and come more into their own, we've noticed they've started wearing heels far more often.
Of course, resident rebel Jinger Duggar has always been the one leading the pack, but some of her sisters (and her cousin Amy Duggar) have also jumped on the high-heel-wearing bandwagon too, especially when an occasion calls for them to dress up a bit.
Whether they're wearing tall heels, wedges, or even chunky boots, here are 13 times when the Duggar ladies dared to wear heels.
Chunky Heeled Boots
Almost immediately after Jinger got married and moved to Texas, she started changing up her style — and yep, that meant wearing heels. In 2017, she shared this sweet smooch between her and husband Jeremy Vuolo, wearing an adorable skirt outfit with boots that had a pretty significant chunky heel.
Red Carpet Heels
Amy Duggar showed off these powder blue high heels when she and husband Dillon King walked the red carpet at a WeTV event. Of course, this is one of those times that calls for getting all dressed up, and Amy did not hold back, even stating in the caption of her picture that her heels were 6 inches tall.
Wedges for Church
Jinger seems to be a big fan of wedges — and blazers paired with skinny jeans, for that matter. This is a pretty simple look that she really took to the next level by jazzing up her feet a little. It was dressy enough for church while still being casual enough for her to be comfortable.

Jill normally wears outdoorsy sandals and flats — she's always been one to keep it pretty casual. Considering the fact that Amy owns her own boutique, it makes sense that she'd be into fashion. These brown boots are so perfect for fall, and clearly look great with a simple outfit like ripped jeans and a sweater while still boasting an interesting pattern.

Here's a major throwback to when Jinger and Jeremy's daughter Felicity was tiny! Jinger is posing with her family at a wedding they attended in Texas in 2019. Her dress might be basic, but it lets her cute wedges be the star of the show, as they should be. So adorable!

Is it just us, or are these the boldest pair of heels we've seen a member of the Duggar family wear — maybe ever? At the Discovery Channel premiere of Serengeti, Jinger wore bright red heels with one of her staple ensembles, a blazer and skinny pants. It's such a great look!
