Comedian Ellen DeGeneres, who is on her farewell tour, told the audience in Santa Rosa, California, last week that after her Netflix special this fall – “I’m done.”
After that, she canceled four shows on her “Ellen’s Last Stand … Up” that includes a stop on July 31, 2024, at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia.
The canceled shows were in Chicago, San Francisco, Settle, and Dallas.
In Santa Rose, she said, “This is the last time you’re going to see me. After my Netflix special, I’m done,” according to SF Gate.

Her talk show, 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' ended in 2022 after 19 seasons.
The show earned 64 Daytime Emmy Awards. DeGeneres received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016, the Carol Burnett Award at the Golden Globe Awards in 2020, and the 15th Annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in October 2012.
