Elon Musk’s Daughter Speaks Out After He Claimed She Was ‘Killed by the Woke Mind Virus’

Elon Musk has made some bold claims about his 20-year-old transgender daughter this week, and now, she's fighting back. While talking to NBC News, Vivian Jenna Wilson spoke out about her businessman father claiming that she was "killed by the woke mind virus," and that's not all she had to say in the interview. She also called Elon out for not being a supportive father during her childhood, saying that he was only present in their home "maybe 10% of the time."

Elon went live on his social media platform, X (former Twitter).

During the stream, he spoke with psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson and claimed he had been "tricked" into allowing Vivian to undergo gender affirming medical procedures as a teenager.

"I lost my son, essentially. They call it 'deadnaming' for a reason. The reason they call it 'deadnaming' is because your son is dead," he said, claiming that she was "killed by the woke mind virus."

Now, Vivian is fighting back.

In an interview with NBC News that was published on July 25, Vivian shared her experiences growing up with Elon as her father, telling the story of a time during a road trip when she said he was "constantly yelling at me viciously because my voice was too high."

"He was cold. He’s very quick to anger. He is uncaring and narcissistic," she said.

Vivian said Elon wasn't around much.

"He was there, I want to say, maybe 10% of the time. That’s generous. He had half custody, and he fully was not there," she said. "It was just a fact of life at the time, so I don’t think I realized just how abnormal of an experience it was."

Fortunately, Vivian's mom, Justine Wilson, has been much more supportive.

Vivian denied that her dad had been tricked into agreeing to her treatment for gender dysphoria.

“He was not by any means tricked. He knew the full side effects,” she said, later adding, “They save lives. Let’s not get that twisted. They definitely allowed me to thrive.”

This isn't the first time that Elon has talked about Vivian and her journey as a trans person, but it is when she finally decided to speak out, since she felt that her dad's conversation with Dr. Peterson crossed a line.

Vivian felt like she had no choice but to respond publicly.

“I have been basically put into a point where, to a group of people, I have to basically prove whether or not I was suicidal or not to warrant medically transitioning,” she told NBC News. “It’s absolutely mind-boggling.”

Elon has yet to respond to Vivian's latest comments.
