Jennifer Lopez’s Child Emme Muniz Brings a Date to Premiere of Mom’s New Movie

Being the child of Jennifer Lopez means having plenty of glam events to attend throughout the year – and of course, those events are even better with a date. In Febraury 2024, it was 16-year-old Emme Muniz's turn to bring a plus one to their mom's big night. Emme brought their partner along to J.Lo's premiere for her new movie, This Is Me … Now earlier this week, reminding us just how quickly her kids are growing up. How are Emme and Max teenagers already?!

This isn't the first time that Emme has appeared at one of their mom's events, but it does seem to be the first time that they brought a date. Emme held hands with a mystery partner as they walked the red carpet together, and Hola! reported they were smiling and laughing with each other.

We've seen Emme out and about a lot recently.

Since J.Lo tied the knot with Ben Affleck, it seems their kids have really hit it off. Emme seems to be close with Ben's 15-year-old, Fin, and they were just photographed during a day of shopping with Ben. We know he and Jennifer must be relieved that blending their families together has been a success!

Fans know that Emme can often be found on stage with J.Lo.

Not only did Emme join J.Lo for her Super Bowl performance — which was a big enough deal in itself — but they've also been known to duet on stage together. Last year, they sang "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri, and it's clear that Emme has inherited both mom and dad Marc Anthony's musical talents.

The premiere was a big deal for J.Lo.

It's no wonder Jennifer wanted her family around her at the premiere, because This Is Me … Now has truly been a passion project for her. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she revealed she financed it herself.

"We went in over budget. It was a challenging project in that way. It’s like there could have never been enough money for the project," she said. "We didn’t have endless funds from a studio. This was a very independent project that I was self-financing. So it was very challenging producorially."

'This Is Me ... Now' is streaming on Prime Video.

This Is Me … Now started streaming on Friday, February 16, so fans everywhere are now able to see the result of J.Lo's hard work (and her investment).

Here's hoping we find out more about Emme and their boo soon!
