Fans Have the Best Reactions to Rihanna’s Surprise Super Bowl Pregnancy Reveal

Fans knew that when they tuned in to Rihanna's halftime performance during the Super Bowl on Sunday, they were in for a treat — but they didn't realize who her special guest would be! During the show, Rihanna revealed that she's pregnant, and the reactions to the news have been the best.

Rihanna showed off her baby bump during the performance.

Nobody had any clue that Rihanna and boyfriend A$AP Rocky were expecting their second child until she stepped out on stage with a bump. Her rep later confirmed to People that the singer, who welcomed her first child, a baby boy, in May 2022, is indeed pregnant.

What an exciting way to announce the news!

There was no mistaking Rihanna's bump.

Though while the performance aired fans on Twitter debated whether Rihanna was still rocking the postpartum mom look or expecting all over again, it quickly became clear that the Fenty Beauty mogul was using her moment in the Super Bowl spotlight to let fans know she is expecting again.

The reactions started to roll in, and they were just too good.

Some people were a bit stressed about what this could mean for her music.

This GIF of Eagles coach Nick Sirianni getting emotional during the national anthem quickly became the meme of the night, so it's not surprising at all that fans co-opted it to share their emotions about Rihanna's pregnancy likely meaning that a new album will be pushed back even further.

Hey, maybe not — you can record music while pregnant, after all!

Others joked about the moment everyone was trying to figure out if she was pregnant.

"OK so everyone just googled 'Rihanna pregnant' right," another person tweeted.

To be fair, it's never OK to assume that someone (famous or not) is pregnant without that person confirming that they are … plus, she gave birth less than a year ago. We can't blame anyone for being hesitant to get excited!

Mostly, people were just impressed.

Women and mothers can do anything, and Rihanna's Super Bowl performance is proof positive of that — even though many of us can probably admit that when we were pregnant, we would not have been able to dance like that!

Congrats to the future parents of two. What an exciting year for Rihanna!
