Two weeks after Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo welcomed their third baby into the world, this couple is back out on the town. Earlier this week, Jinger took to Instagram to share her first night out since baby Finn was born, and fans are amazed at how good this mama looks – and the fact that she even felt like leaving the house at just two weeks postpartum in the first place.
Jinger shared a video from their date.
“First date night since baby Finnegan arrived! We had sushi, did a little shopping, responsibly filled the gas tank and cleaned out the car (because romance), and topped it off with McDonald’s ice cream. 10/10 date night!” Jinger wrote in her caption.
The video started with Jinger getting ready for their night out (and parting her hair with scissors, as many people in the comments couldn’t help but notice) and then, they were off. Their older daughters, Evangeline and Felicity, stayed home with a sitter while newborn baby Finn got to join his parents for their night out.
She and Jeremy seemed to have a blast.
“It was a treat to enjoy this time,” she said in the video, even though they did have to stop and take a walk before dinner to get Finn to settle down before they got to have their sushi – Jinger’s first time eating it after pregnancy.
The night ended with a McDonald’s ice cream cone, which Jinger noted is an essential part of every date.
Fans can’t get over how good she looks.
Most of the comments on Jinger’s post are focused on how pretty she looks in her flowy floral dress – and how she doesn’t look like someone who had a baby just a couple of weeks ago at all!
“You are in such great shape just having a baby, wow,” one person commented.
Others were amazed she’d even want to go out on a date now, with one of her followers writing, “OMG 😦 I’d be taking the option of an early night to bed, over date night anytime during the newborn phase! 😳.”
Jinger and Jeremy’s baby boy arrived on March 29.
Jinger and Jeremy announced the arrival of their third child (but first son), Finnegan Charles, with the sweetest Instagram post that showed the proud mom and dad with their little boy for the first time.
It’s good to see that these two are still getting quality time to spend together even during the often chaotic newborn period. And they managed to make it to McDonald’s while the ice cream machine was actually working? Their life as a family of five is off to a good start.
