Farrah Abraham’s Teen Daughter Just Got Permanent Fangs & Critics Are Slamming Her Parenting

While there are many parents who think it’s important to let their kids express themselves, most agree that a line has to be drawn somewhere. Some recent updates from Farrah Abraham and her teenage daughter have fans wondering where that line is for the Teen Mom alum. Less than two weeks after Farrah’s 16-year-old daughter, Sophia, showed off her new stomach tattoo, she unveiled another transformation: Permanent fangs.

Farrah seemed completely supportive of the decision.

According to photos and videos that Sophia posted on social media, her mom took her to Vegas Smile Suite to get permanent fangs. “Finally got permanent fangz 🧛🏻‍♀️” Sophia captioned a video in which she showed off her new fangs as her mom stood beside her. A follow up post included videos of the actual procedure and showed Sophia and Farrah standing at the front desk at Vegas Smile Suite. “I’m so fangful 🖤 thank you for making this happen @vegassmilesuite @dr.tomlawler 🧛🏻‍♀️🧛🏻‍♀️🧛🏻‍♀️,” Sophia wrote.

This major transformation comes just after Sophia got her first tattoo.

After Farrah took her daughter to get a large bat tattoo on her stomach, she faced a lot of backlash for being too supportive. While many agreed that encouraging creative expression is generally a good thing, the tattoo felt too permanent. Many fans worried that she would later regret the decision, and thought Farrah should’ve intervened. “That’s too young to do permanent things to yourself,” one critic wrote. “You can do so many other things to be supportive and let your child be expressive.”

So, obviously, people had concerns about the permanent fangs.

To many critics, the fangs seemed like yet another sign that Farrah needs to learn to say “no” sometimes. “You are THE MOTHER not her friend,” one critic wrote. Another person added, “This is getting out of hand. She’s only 16.”

Even some people who normally love creative expression thought the fangs were too much. “I’m all for self-expression with clothes, makeup, and even piercings,” a third person commented. “The fangs are a little much. I’m a dental assistant and I do not think this is a good idea.”

Others were much harsher with their comments for Farrah. “This is absolutely CRAZY!!!” a fourth critic wrote. “I cannot believe you allow your MINOR child to make these permanent decisions! It’s disturbing. Great job mom!!!”

But some people have praised Farrah for accepting her kid for who she is.

Some fans said Farrah seems like “the mom we all wished we had.” To Sophia, one person wrote, “You’re literally living my childhood dream! Your mom is the best!” Another fan directed their comment at the critics: “She’s happy, safe, and healthy… that’s a lot more than some of you guys can say for your own kids.”

Regardless, Farrah didn’t seem too bothered by the criticism. She commented on Sophia’s video, writing, “😂😂😂 so much fun in Las Vegas with you! & @vegassmilesuite @dr.tomlawler #fangday #fangs”
