‘Teen Mom’ Farrah Abraham Is Slammed for Letting 14-Year-Old Daughter Get 6 Piercings

Going back to her days on Teen Mom, Farrah Abraham has always been criticized for her parenting choices, and now that her daughter, Sophia, is officially in teenage territory, it seems to be happening even more frequently. In fact, people seem downright horrified by Sophia's piercings — well, the sheer number of them, anyway.

Farrah shared a video of Sophia's latest piercings.

In a video that she shared to both Instagram and TikTok, we see that Sophia is getting two more piercings to add to her collection for her birthday: a "snakebite" piercing in her lip and another piercing to add to her earlobe.

This makes six total piercings for Sophia — whoa.

Sophia showed off her new piercings live on TikTok.

Afterwards, she shared some screenshots and video of her birthday stream on Instagram, and it looks like plenty of people tuned in to wish her a happy birthday.

It also gave us the chance to get a better look at all of those piercings, which she seems to love so far.

People aren't impressed that Farrah is encouraging all these piercings.

As The Sun reported, fans took to Reddit to discuss the situation, with many people totally baffled that Farrah would allow this.

"I'm sorry, that is WAY too many permanent holes for her age. Some piercings will heal over, but most of those won't," one person wrote. "Those weird snake bite ones below her mouth? Those will always be there/the scar. This is just s—-y parenting. Kids don't understand permanence, it's your job as a parent to say no."

Another person was worried that this could put Sophia in danger, writing, "I don’t have a problem with piercing but I do have a problem with her mother posting this video to her audience of creeps."

This is not the only time Farrah's been criticized on this subject.

When Sophia got her septum pierced in 2022, Farrah faced similar backlash. At the time, she told TMZ that even though she herself "wasn't for it," she didn't want Sophia to go off and get it behind her back and potentially end up in a dangerous or unhealthy situation.

"I would rather it be done by a professional, sanitized and clean, than my teen sneaking off and doing it herself and getting an infection," she said.

Farrah has always done her own thing.

That didn't exactly win her many friends on Teen Mom, but so far, it appears she and Sophia have a pretty close relationship, despite everything they've been through.

Farrah knows Sophia best. We just hope that all this freedom doesn't backfire on her!
