It’s no secret that kids who grow up in Los Angeles, and even more so kids who grow up in famous families in Hollywood, tend to grow up a little faster than most. The same can be said for North West, according to many who have seen the 13-year-old come into her own through social media posts and public outings. But now, people are also worried about Kim Kardashian’s oldest child.
In a video posted on TikTok, one user shares her concerns about North gaining her own fan base, some of which is made up of grown men. Again, she is just 13 years old, and her fame stems from being the child of two very famous people. Which has people wondering where Kim and Kanye West are in all this.

In the TikTok, the user, Shannon Hill, shares screenshots from social media and clips from meetings that North had with other celebrities and fans. In the clips, North appears to be uncomfortable hugging these grown men. And, in one screenshot, British rapper Skepta posted about his own discomfort at seeing the clips of North being subjected to these meet and greets with fans and other rappers.
In his social media post, Skepta wrote, “A blind man could see she wanted a handshake.” He also wrote, “My fans know I try to stay out of people’s business but damn the way grown men, complete strangers, try to use North makes me sick.”
When someone replied to Skepta to ask him if hugging is a crime, the rapper responded, “What are you talking about?! She is 13 years old and she put her hand out for a handshake, you don’t ignore that. I can’t believe some [of] these replies to my tweet.”
Another person replied to him to say that North is “only a child by age,” which only further proved the point of North being subjected to being objectified already. Skepta replied to that post with, “WOW!! Protect your kids people. Protect your kids!”

In the comments under the TikTok, where the user explains how she sees North as being treated older than she is, people questioned where Kim and Kanye are in all of this. Kim is sometimes seen at events with North, and she has even garnered mixed criticisms about North’s piercings, hair, and clothing choices as a young teenager. But in this instance, where North seems to be uncomfortable around so many grown adults, people have questions.
“Where is Kim?! Where is Kanye?!” A user commented on the TikTok.
“Her mom is pimping her out the same way she was and Kylie was,” someone else wrote. “Let’s not forget Kylie was like 15 or 16 when she started dating a 20 something year-old Tyga.”
Another pointed out, “You don’t see her mum accepting hugs from random people, so why is her daughter?”
Others in the comments argued that a hug is harmless. However, according to critics of Kim and Kanye, it’s one part of a bigger issue for 13-year-old North.
“Grown ass men using her because of her status and parents tf,” a user replied. “They wouldn’t act like that with a regular 13-year-old. She just wanted a damn hand shake he’s using her for his Instagram pics, clout chaser.”

One of the men seen in the clips in the TikTok is Matteo Sinet, an influencer and model who has been in the Kardashian-Jenner inner circle a bit. He posted a TikTok of himself in Alabama Barker’s bedroom, where she dyes his hair for him. He’s in his twenties, so he’s definitely much older than North. And the fact that he’s apparently a friend of the family probably doesn’t make his hug and close proximity to North any less icky.
