From 1997 to 2000, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Affleck dated on and off. Their relationship certainly wasn’t perfect, but they did seem to share an adventurous sex life while they were together. A forthcoming book called Gwyneth: The Biography, written by Amy Odell, has revealed some previously unknown details about their relationship, including an unexpected sex act they enjoyed.
They reportedly had amazing sex during their relationship.
When Gwyneth and Ben, both now 52, were together, they had incredible sex, according to Amy. At the same time, amazing sex wasn’t enough to keep the spark alive. Ben “had demons,” and “was struggling with alcoholism and a gambling habit around the time he met Gwyneth,” Amy wrote.
Additionally, “he didn’t always reciprocate her affection,” and “at times seemed more interested in playing video games with the guys at his house than being with Gwyneth.”
Gwyneth had positive things to say about their sexual chemistry though.
Their amazing sex life was not exactly a secret, as Gwyneth “spoke openly about how much she enjoyed” it, according to Amy. In the book, she also revealed one sex act in particular that Gwyneth enjoyed during their relationship. In the excerpt shared with People, Gwyneth’s favorite sex act was alluded to but not named. However, on July 20, Page Six revealed that it was tea-bagging.
“It was the ribald side of her that her friends knew well but that the public didn’t see,” Amy wrote, per Page Six. “She told Kevyn Aucoin in his London hotel room one day after lunch that she loved when Affleck ‘tea-bagged’ her.”
She also spoke about their sex life during a ‘Call Her Daddy’ appearance.
In 2023, when Gwyneth appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, she said both Ben and Brad Pitt were “good kissers.” When talking about what sex was like with each of them, she said having sex with Brad was like “major chemistry, love of your life” intimacy. But Ben was “technically excellent,” she said at the time.
Gwyneth recently made headlines due to a topless cooking video.
In a recent video shared on Instagram, the Goop founder showed her followers how to make a Tuscan-inspired “boyfriend breakfast.” But some people struggled to focus on the recipe since Gwyneth wasn’t wearing a shirt in the clip. Her daughter Apple Martin was among the people who called her out for the interesting choice. “Did I steal your shirt by accident or …,” she commented on her mom’s raunchy video.
