Gypsy-Rose Blanchard looks dramatically different now. Many of her followers have praised her for the “amazing” transformation, but some people were more critical and suggested that Gypsy might’ve altered her photos to make the transformation appear more dramatic than it really is. Regardless, Gypsy appears to have lost a lot of weight — especially considering the fact that she just gave birth in December 2024.
Gypsy-Rose Blanchard says she’s lost 25 lbs.
On Sunday, April 13, the 33-year-old took to Instagram to share before-and-after photos. The first photo was taken prior to her weight loss and dental glow up. Meanwhile, the second photo showed Gypsy wearing jeans and a white vest while posing for a mirror selfie. “My 25lbs weight loss 💗,” she captioned the post.
A lot of people told Gypsy that she looks ‘amazing.’
“Healthy and Happy looks amazing on you,” one person commented on the post.
A second follower wrote, “You look AMAZING!!!”
Another one of Gypsy’s followers said, “We love a healthy gypsy.”
Some of Gypsy’s followers also questioned how she managed to lose so much weight. After seeing lots of questions in the comments, Gypsy commented on her own post to explain.
“I’ve seen a lot of comments of people asking how I lost the weight,” Gypsy wrote. She explained that her “weight loss journey started once getting out of prison.” When she was released from prison in December 2023, she “started eating healthier instead of prison food” and “the weight begin to fall off.” Additionally, she said she “started eating twice a day and smaller portions.”
Some naysayers accused Gypsy of altering the photo.
While lots of Gypsy’s followers celebrated her transformation, some critics were skeptical of Gypsy’s mirror selfie.
“Girl, next time using photoshop remember to pay attention to the background,” one person commented. “Your door is a bit wonky.”
When one of Gypsy’s followers complimented her and told her that her “hard work shows,” another person said it was “hard photoshop work.”
In response to the photo editing allegations, one of Gypsy’s followers jumped to her defense and suggested that critics were probably jealous. “We can see she’s lost weight and [looks] amazing even in videos people take, don’t be bitter,” they wrote.
Gypsy gave birth to her daughter a year after being released from prison.
A lot has happened in Gypsy’s life since her release from prison, and while she definitely has her critics, many of her followers are happy for her. On April 5, Gypsy shared a family photo and captioned it with, “Our little family 💗.”
Gypsy and her boyfriend Ken Urker welcomed their baby girl, Aurora Raina Urker, at the end of December.
“Omg Gypsy look at you all glowing and beautiful you should be so proud of yourself!” one fan wrote in response to their family photo. “Sending so much love to you and your beautiful little family.”
