Woman Claiming to Be Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Former Prisonmate Makes New Allegations in Viral TikTok

It might be years since Gypsy Rose Blanchard did her time for her convicted role in the murder of her mother, DeeDee Blanchard, but some people aren’t willing to let her forget about it. And it doesn’t really help that Gypsy Rose also stars in a show called Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, where she details her life after being released from prison and reuniting with loved ones.

But, perhaps because of her penchant for remaining in the public eye, Gypsy Rose has to deal with people from her past. That includes an alleged former prison-mate who shared a TikTok about the alleged real Gypsy Rose that people don’t get to see much, apparently. The woman, whose name is Nadatha Rutz, says in her video that the persona Gypsy Rose is presenting to the world and her social media followers is allegedly totally inauthentic.

The alleged former prisonmate says Gypsy Rose Blanchard “tricked people for money.”

In her video, Nadatha says that she went to prison with Gypsy Rose and, although she was in prison for crimes related to theft and drug use, she was in close proximity to Gypsy Rose. So much so that Nadatha was able to see how the Lifetime reality TV star interacted with guards and other prisoners to allegedly get her way.

And, apparently, Nadatha felt the need to make the TikTok because of a podcast episode she watched where Gypsy Rose spoke of her time in prison. This seemed to prompt Nadatha to share her side of things, even if Gypsy Rose never called her out specifically. For all of the Gypsy Rose haters, though, Nadatha’s account of how things allegedly went down behind bars is welcome.

“So I watched Gypsy’s podcast episode keep in mind Iwas in prison with her and Inoticed some things,” Nadatha says in her video. “Yes, she was on the honor wing so she definitely presented herself as [kissing face] to the prison guards but it was not because she just was this super respectful girl. Many of them guards walked away [and] that b—h was like the rest of us talking s–t and Ilove how she says when she first came in she tried to be a mean girl. That never ended. Gypsy was always striving to fit in, she wanted to be that girl in any capacity that she could. She was a pick me.”

She also claims that Gypsy Rose would be on the phone with alleged pen pals who, according to Nadatha, Gypsy Rose would “trick” for money.

“You had tricks, you spent most of your time riding that phone line and having pen pals because you were tricking people for money,” she explains. She then says that after another inmate was released, she set up Gypsy Rose with “dudes to be able to contact for money.”

She also made claims about Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s “best friend” in prison.

At another point in the video, Nadatha talks about Gypsy Rose’s alleged best friend while in prison. According to Nadatha, Gypsy Rose’s BFF was an inmate who was convicted of killing her mother. The implication seems to be that Nadatha might believe these two women had that specifically in common and that may rub some people the wrong way.

“Your friends were weird, b—h,” Nadatha says. “Your very best friend un-alived her mama too. You hung out with predators, baby, weird ones.”

Gypsy Rose Blanchard had a response to her speaking on her on ‘Life After Lockup.’

Before Nadatha even made that video, one of her other TikToks about Gypsy Rose was featured on the Life After Lockup docuseries. In another video, Nadatha shared a screen recording from one of Gypsy Rose’s livestreams where Nadatha’s face appears during an episode from one of her TikToks.

In the livestream, Gypsy Rose says, “Oh, this b—h. Can’t even believe they put her on there.” So yeah, the drama runs pretty deep.
