Season 2 of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up continues the saga of what Gypsy Rose Blanchard‘s life is like, post-prison. After a failed marriage to Ryan Anderson immediately following her release from prison, Gypsy moved on with ex-fiancé Ken Urker. Now, they have a baby together, and Gypsy is getting candid about their life in the bedroom.
During the second season of the show, Gypsy opens up about the “floodgate” that opened once she and Ken got back together. According to her, things were pretty spicy in the bedroom once she left Ryan and reconnected with her now-boyfriend. After Gypsy got pregnant, however, things shifted a bit, which Gypsy says she expected.
“And naturally, now there are times that I think is harder because of schedules and business and work and, like, I want that back for us,” she says on the show.
Gypsy says, ‘I’m the freak’ in the relationship.
Ken and Gypsy live separately because she cannot legally live with him until they are married, as a condition of her parole. She lived with her dad and stepmom during the filming of Season 2, while Ken lives alone. They do get to have overnight visits, but according to Gypsy, that isn’t enough to reignite the passion they apparently once had when they first got back together.
Gypsy also claims that the passion comes mostly from her.
“I’m the most adventurous girlfriend he’s had,” she tells producers. “So, I’m the freak.”
She also shares some toys that she wants to be able to use in the bedroom with Ken, some of which Gypsy admits were used more before she got pregnant.
Gypsy and Ken aren’t in a rush to get married.
During the second season of the show, which began filming before the December 2024 birth of Gypsy and Ken’s daughter Aurora, they had no plans to get married. Gypsy explains on the show that they intend to take things slowly. That makes sense, given that Gypsy got married to Ryan pretty quickly after she was released from prison.
Gypsy and Ryan’s divorce was finalized on December 9, 2024. She is now free to marry Ken, should they take that route. But for now, they appear to be taking things one step at a time.
The first step is parenting their daughter together and learning to navigate parenthood in the public eye. Gypsy also once shared on Instagram that she wouldn’t post pictures of their daughter in an effort to “value the privacy” of her little girl.
In January 2025, Gypsy shared a notice in her Instagram Stories about it. “To everyone asking, No, I will not be posting pictures of Aurora. I understand everyone’s excitement and we appreciate the support, but we value the privacy and safety of our daughter. We continue to express love towards our supporters and thank you for following our journey.”
On April 6, 2025, however, Gypsy shared a family photo of herself, Ken, and their daughter with the caption, “Our little family 💗 #gypsyroselifeafterlockup #gypsyroseblanchard #kenurker.” Ken has shared photos of Aurora on his own Instagram account. So for now, it looks like Gypsy is OK with continuing to share her life and that of her daughter on social media.
