These days, it seems like Hailey Bieber is so busy creating a family of her own that she doesn't mind there being a little distance between her and her parents. In a new cover interview with W Magazine, not only did Hailey pose with her baby bump, but she also opened up about what her relationship with her family is like now that she's expecting her first child with husband Justin Bieber.

Hailey told the magazine she's feeling very 'independent.'
"I’m not super close with my family at this point in my life because I feel like I’m very independent," she said. "I’m my own individual now, and I’ve built my own family."
Hailey is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and Kennya Baldwin. She also has an older sister, 31-year-old Alaia Baldwin.
That doesn't mean there are any hard feelings, though.
Hailey told the magazine that she still had a "fairly normal childhood" despite growing up in a famous family, who she said she began to distance herself from when she started her career as a model at the age of 17, which meant traveling and living on her own.
"That pushed me into adulthood kind of quickly," she said.
She also said, "When I look back on my childhood and how I grew up, I have very fond, beautiful memories."
Her dad does seem excited about having a grandchild on the way.
After Hailey and Justin announced back in May that they are expecting, Stephen shared one of the photos from their announcement shoot on Instagram.
He wrote, "Love you guys. Blessed beyond words. Praise God. Let's get ready to have some fun y'all."

Elsewhere in the interview, Hailey talked about how her pregnancy has been so far.
Pregnancy cravings are usually par for the course, and Hailey said she called in a private chef to make sure she has hers fulfilled. Because she considers herself a foodie, she called this a "huge luxury."
If only we could all have a chef at the ready to deliver whatever yummy concoction our pregnant brains dreamed up while expecting!
Now that she's nearing the end of her pregnancy, she's feeling a bit emotional.
And for her, that means grappling with the fact that it will no longer be just her and Justin in their little family.
"In the beginning, it was super emotional for me. Like, 'I love this human so much. How can I possibly bring someone else into this?'" she said. "I’m trying to soak in these days of it being Justin and me, just the two of us."
