The feud between Victoria and David Beckham and their oldest son, Brooklyn, was bubbling under the surface until last week, when the 26-year-old took to Instagram to issue a scathing statement against his parents. Now, another one of their children seems to be letting the world know where she stands in a not-so-subtle way with an Instagram post of her own.
Harper Beckham cheered on her brother Romeo over the weekend.
As Page Six reported, Harper posted a since-expired video on her Instagram Stories over the weekend that showed footage of Romeo’s runway walk at the Willy Chavarria fashion show at Paris Fashion Week. Over the video, she wrote, “Yet again!! Another amazing show x @romeobeckham @willychavarria.”
Though Harper’s Instagram account is private, it seems to have been a while since the 14-year-old was active on her account, so she could be sending a clear message that she’s taking her parents’ side on this one.
Meanwhile, her mom seems to have returned to posting as usual, too.
On Saturday, Victoria shared a photo of herself on Instagram with three of her former Spice Girls bandmates, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, and Melanie C as they gathered to celebrate Emma’s birthday.
“Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul @emmaleebunton I love you girls so much @gerihalliwellhorner @melaniecmusic xxxxxxx,” Victoria captioned the post.
David added a comment of his own, writing, “This made me happy. I can only imagine how the Spice Girls fans feel.”
Brooklyn reportedly misses Harper now that he’s estranged from the family.
Last week, a source claiming to be close to the famous family told The Sun that whatever animosity Brooklyn feels towards his parents doesn’t apply to his little sister.
“He really loves and misses Harper and wishes there was some way for him to see her without him seeing his parents,” the source said. “They were really close — and Harper was close with Nicola – so for this drama to come between them is heartbreaking.”
This can’t be an easy time for the family, regardless of what side of the feud each member might be on. The Beckhams have always seemed so tight knit, but obviously, that’s changing in a big way… and there might not be any going back from here after everything Brooklyn has said about his parents online.
