More than two years after Heather Rae and Tarek El Moussa welcomed their first child together, are they going for another? That’s what the former Selling Sunset star seems to be saying in a new interview with People. There’s just one tiny catch, though: If they do decide to have another baby, it’s only going to work if it can happen on her terms.
While talking to the magazine, Heather Rae gushed that being a mom to her son, Tristan, who turned 2 in January, is her “favorite role that I’ve ever done,” adding that she also loves being a stepmom to Tarek’s older two children, Taylor and Brayden, whom he shares with ex Christina Haack.
“Tristan is the light of my life,” she said. “He grounds me, he makes me so happy. I call him my little earth angel because he’s just perfection. I could be coming home from a long day, a long shoot, filming, and I walk in the door and he yells, ‘Mommy!’ and runs and jumps in my arms and it melts me.”
When she was asked if she’d consider having another baby, the 37-year-old reality star had an answer ready.
“It’s no stress for me, raising kids and being a mom. It’s the least stressful thing in my life and fulfills me so much. Why would I not want more of that?” she told the magazine. “It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever done.”
She’s not about to jump into the decision without figuring out if it makes sense for her life first, though. Heather Rae added, “But, yeah, I still would love another one, but it has to fit into our life. It’s a huge change, and you have to be really ready for it.”
Fair enough! It’s hard to imagine a bigger life change than adding another baby into the mix, and Heather Rae and Tarek seem to be busier than ever between their HGTV projects and their family life.
Then there’s the fact that she and Tarek recently moved into a home, and they shared that they’re busy making it their own these days.
Time will tell if these two decide to add another baby to the gang, but it appears they have plenty of excitement on the horizon to look forward to either way.
