We may be just a month out from Christmas at this point, but there are still plenty of wonderful holiday-themed movies, series, and specials set to debut on Netflix over the next several weeks. Considering so many folks seem to have started binge-watching cheesy Christmas movies early this year — because it's 2020 and we all need as much comfort and joy as we can get, amiright? — it's definitely a good thing the streaming service is holding off on releasing some of its Christmas content until after Thanksgiving.
Something we're really excited for? There are TWO holiday-themed baking competitions coming to Netflix in the next couple of weeks, just in time to give us some inspiration for our own Christmas baking projects. There's also a wonderful version of the classic Nutcracker ballet, and of course, the sequel to 2018's The Christmas Chronicles, starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
Beyond that, there are a bunch of special holiday episodes of some fan favorite kids' shows that are sure to keep the children occupied while parents do some holiday shopping (online of course), and wrap up work before the Christmas break. All that to say, the streaming service's holiday offerings are stacked.

'The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two'
Coming to Netflix: November 25
Starring real-life couple Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell as Santa and Mrs. Claus, The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two is the follow-up to 2018's hit Netflix Original film. In this sequel, the young girl from the original movie runs away to the North Pole and discovers a naughty elf with plans to cancel Christmas forever.
'A Go! Go! Cory Carson Christmas'
Coming to Netflix: November 27
In this Christmas episode of toddler favorite, Go! Go! Cory Carson — which follows a group of toy cars that come to life — Cory encounters a stranger who arrives in town but has mysteriously lost his memories. If he can't remember who he is, Christmas may be destroyed, so Cory must help him remember just how special the holiday is.
'Dance Dreams: Hot Chocolate Nutcracker'
Coming to Netflix: November 27
This behind-the-scenes documentary chronicles the career of legendary dancer and choreographer Debbie Allen and dancers with the Debbie Allen Dance Academy as they prepare for their annual performance of a reimagined Nutcracker ballet that incorporates various forms of dance.
'Sugar Rush Christmas'
Coming to Netflix: November 27
Season two of the Netflix reality baking competition Sugar Rush is set to premiere just after Thanksgiving. For those who haven't seen it, the show pits four sets of bakers against each other in Christmas-themed challenges — the first round cupcakes, the next confections, and the last show cakes — with competitors being eliminated after each round.
'Spookley and the Christmas Kittens'
Coming to Netflix: November 30
In Spookley and the Christmas Kittens, everyone's favorite square pumpkin meets some unexpected visitors at Holiday Hill Farm. Three adorable and strangely hued stray kittens need help finding their way home for the holidays, and Spookley and his farm friends and holiday buddies are happy to be of assistance.
'Angela's Christmas Wish'
Coming to Netflix: December 1
Angela's Christmas Wish is the follow-up to 2018's Angela's Christmas. In this all-new animated Christmas special, we see our determined young heroine set about the task of ensuring that her father makes it home to Ireland from his job in Australia, so her family can be together again in time for the holidays.
'The Holiday Movies That Made Us'

A spin-off of the docu-series The Movies That Made Us, The Holiday Movies That Made Us takes a look at some of the most popular and well-known Christmas movies — such as The Nightmare Before Christmas and Elf — and offers a behind-the-scenes take on each one along with commentary on what made them so formative and impactful.
'Chico Bon Bon and the Very Berry Holiday'

In this adorable animated Christmas special, the little monkey Chico Bon Bon and his friends in the Fix-It Force set out to deliver Blunderberry Cakes to everyone in town before they awake on Christmas morning. They are convinced it's the only way to avoid the holiday disaster that will ensue if their neighbors don't get their traditional cakes.
'Just Another Christmas'

Just Another Christmas is a Christmas comedy out of Brazil in which a man, who isn't exactly a fan of Christmas, somehow ends up stuck in a time loop where it's eternally Christmas Eve — which also happens to be his birthday. Unsure whether he'll ever be able to escape, he eventually starts to learn some important life lessons.
'Captain Underpants Mega Blissmas'
Coming to Netflix: December 4
In this Captain Underpants franchise Christmas special, George and Harold travel back in time in an attempt to make some changes to some of their favorite holiday traditions. They want to convince Santa Claus that they should turn Christmas into "Blissmas," ramping everything up to whole new levels of festive.
'The Great British Baking Show: Holidays'
Coming to Netflix: December 4
The third season of the ever-charming and festive The Great British Baking Show: Holidays is headed to Netflix early in December. Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will critique past contestants on a series of holiday bakes, with a special guest appearance from the cast of the popular television series Derry Girls.
'Mighty Express: A Mighty Christmas'
Coming to Netflix: December 5
The Mighty Express is a cute animated series geared toward the preschool set, and in this brand-new Christmas special, the crew sees a new train come into town on a mission to deliver presents from Santa to all the kids in Tracksville. Sadly, a snowstorm threatens to stop him in his tracks.
'Super Monsters: Santa's Super Monster Helpers'
Coming to Netflix: December 8
Kids love the Super Monsters, and thankfully, they come out with new holiday specials to enjoy featuring the mini monsters every season. In this year's episode, the monsters volunteer to help Santa prepare all the presents for Christmas, using some of their friendly and always helpful monster magic.
'Ashley Garcia: Genius in Love: Christmas'
Coming to Netflix: December 9
Just a couple of weeks before Christmas, a holiday episode of the quirky Netflix Original comedy Ashley Garcia: Genius in Love will drop on Netflix. The show's about a teenaged genius who moves across the country to live with her uncle and work for NASA, all while navigating the complexities of adolescence.
'The Big Show Show: Christmas'
Coming to Netflix: December 9
The Big Show Show was actually recently canceled by Netflix after just one season, but not before a Christmas special of the sitcom — starring the famed WWE wrestler — was filmed. This holiday installment will be the final episode of the show, which was based on the Big Show himself and what his life was like after retirement.
Honorable Mention: 'Holidate'

Holidate was one of the first new Christmas movies to land on Netflix this holiday season. Starring Emma Roberts, Luke Bracey, and Kristin Chenoweth, it's about two strangers who meet and make an arrangement to be each other's dates for every holiday all year long. But spend that much time with another person, and true feelings are bound to surface.
Honorable Mention: 'Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey'

Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey is a brand-new Netflix Original Christmas movie, starring Forest Whittaker, Keegan-Michael Key, and Anika Noni Rose.
