
Jacob Elordi, who is the it Hollywood guy right now after his roles in Netflix's Kissing Booth, HBO's Euphoria and the current viral movie Saltburn, might have found himself involved in some drama over the weekend.
The 26-year-old actor is reportedly involved in a police investigation.
According to The Sunday Telegraph, Jacob got into an "altercation" with Joshua Fox, a TikToker and radio producer with KIIS FM, while outside the Coogee Bay Hotel.
This alleged event took place on February 3, 2024, in a suburb of Sydney, Australia.
Jacob was allegedly upset by something Joshua said.
Jacob was "offended by one of the questions" Joshua asked him, The Sunday Telegraph reported.
From there, the two got into an "altercation," and then Jacob left.
Police were called and told "that about 3.30pm a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man." Those ages match those of Joshua and Jacob.
Police confirmed they were investigating something.
The police didn't give exact details on the altercation they were called for, according to Business Insider.
"Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs," New South Wales Police told the news outlet.
There were reportedly no injuries sustained as a result of the incident.
The statement to Business Insider continued, with police confirming they were called to the scene where two men reportedly had an altercation.
"Police were told about 3.30pm on Saturday 3 February 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries," the statement shared.
A police report has been filed.
According to Page Six, Joshua did file a police report at Waverley Police Station.
The Sunday Telegraph reported that Joshua refused to give a formal statement to comment on what had happened.
“Inquiries into the incident are continuing,” the police statement read.
