With his health scare from earlier this year behind him, it looks like Jamie Foxx has yet another thing to celebrate. It's official — Jamie's daughter, Corinne, is engaged to boyfriend Joe Hooten, and the bride-to-be shared the exciting news in a sweet Instagram post where she showed off her brand-new bling. Those who follow Corinne on social media know that she has shared updates on her relationship here and there over the last few years, so this big milestone certainly seems to have been a long time coming.

Corinne shared a series of black and white photos to announce the news.
The photos featured Corinne and her new fiancé in an embrace while they were on a boat together, with her gorgeous new ring front and center.
Corinne kept her caption short and sweet, writing, "from the first time I saw you, I knew you were my forever."
The couple celebrated this new step in their relationship over the weekend.
In posts Corinne shared on her Instagram Stories, it looks like the couple celebrated with friends and family at an engagement party held over the weekend. It appears their loved ones are just as over the moon about their exciting news as the couple themselves!
Although Corinne is known for hosting Beat Shazam on Fox, Joe also works in entertainment, though his career seems to be more behind the scenes. According to Coverfly, he's a writer-director and television executive, so it seems he and his new in-laws have plenty in common already.
Corinne and Joe's relationship dates back to at least 2019.
As People pointed out, it was September 2019 when Corinne shared a photo of her boyfriend on Instagram for the very first time as they posed with a horse at Zion National Park.
"Spent the weekend with a couple of studs," she joked in her caption.

Her famous dad has already shared his congratulations publicly.
On Instagram, Jamie reshared Corinne's engagement post, calling the couple "a perfect example of what being in love is."
"You care about each others life mental and physical … and you have each other’s back … congratulations on your engagement … @joe.hooten when you whispered to me a while back that you were gonna ask my baby girl to marry you I had tears of joy in my soul … and @corinnefoxx you have … and have always had a special place in my heart … you deserve love abundantly … so again congratulations you too … can’t wait to walk you down that isle. @corinnefoxx you have a great soul in @joe.hooten I LOVE YOU BOTH DEARLY … I have my tissues ready," he wrote.
