According to a marriage license filed in Arkansas this week, former 19 Kids and Counting star Jana Duggar is marrying Stephen Wissmann very soon — even though she's never publicly shared that she's dating anyone. It looks like all those engagement rumors were true!

Jana and Stephen filed for a marriage license on Wednesday.
The filing, which was shared on Instagram by vlogger Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball, shows that 31-year-old Stephen Gerald Wissmann and 34-year-old Jana Marie Duggar applied for the license on August 14, 2024.
According to Katie Joy, there have been rumors that the wedding is taking place this month — possibly even as soon as this week.
Jana and Stephen were first rumored to be involved back in 2021.
Reports that Jana and Stephen are an item date back all the way to early April 2021, when she was pictured sitting next to him at a family Christmas celebration.
Over the years, the rumors continued — with some claiming they were secretly engaged and others even speculating that the couple had secretly gotten married — and now it seems like there was some truth to the speculation after all.
Stephen is related to Jana's sister-in-law.
If Stephen's last name sounds familiar, that's because it is. He's actually a brother to Hannah, Jed Duggar's wife. The two families appear to go way back, so it's no surprise that with so many children around the same age, more than one romance would have sparked over the years.

Fans have a lot of feelings about this development.
On the DuggarsSnark subreddit, fans are sharing their excitement about the news — and their wishes that it was being broadcast on TV like Jana's sisters' weddings were.
"GUYS HOW ARE WE GONNA WATCH?!?!?!? I need to see everything. Ive been waiting YEARS for this," one person wrote.
Another commenter wrote, "The J’wedding of the century is upon us."
The latest round of engagement rumors ramped up last month.
In July, fans spotted Jana wearing an engagement ring in a photo she shared on Instagram, leading people to believe she'd found that special someone, even if she was being subtle about sharing the news.
