Jana Duggar's relationship status — or lack thereof — is a big topic of conversation for members of her family and fans of Counting On. In general, Jana, who's 30 years old, has seemed to be fine with her single status. However, in a new episode of Counting On, it looks like Jana is starting to get a little worried.
Jana recently admitted to being worried something is "majorly wrong" with her.
In a recent scene in Counting On, Jana is getting her hair colored. While she's getting her hair done, she's talking with both her hairdresser and John David Duggar's wife, Abbie, about — what else? — being single.
"Some are like, 'Oh man, are you picky?' I’m like, 'I don’t think so!'" Jana tells the woman who's doing her hair, who jokes back, "Like, what’s wrong with you, you’re still single?"
"Yeah, [it’s like] there must be something majorly wrong with you," Jana then responds.
Jana also revealed that she's gotten less strict over the years when it comes to a partner.
"I used to be a little more strict," Jana also said in the episode. "I felt like, I just want to find someone that would either move to Arkansas, or is already from here, but I think as time has gone on, I've found I do love to travel more than I thought I did. So now, it's more like, OK, if I really love the guy, I'll follow him to the ends of the Earth. I'll want to go wherever he is. So far I just haven't found that one."
Understandably, it's getting a little annoying for Jana.
Not necessarily the being single part, but the part where she's asked 9 million times a day if she's dating anyone. "Sometimes it gets a little old. I’m like, 'No I’m not, no I don’t have anyone.' Usually I’ll just answer it and go on," Jana said in the episode before rolling her eyes. "Sometimes it can get a little, like, ‘What? It’s not the only thing in the world to talk about.'"
All of this said, there have been rumors that Jana is involved in a courtship.
In fact, just recently, after Jana posted a selfie to Instagram, Lawson Bates seemed to post flirty response in the comments. Truth be told, though, rumors about Jana and Lawson courting have been floating around for a long time, so if they are in fact involved in a courtship, this is one of the longest in Duggar history!
Guess we'll all just have to keep on waiting.
We have a feeling Jana will eventually meet The One, but until then, she certainly seems like she's enjoying a life with friends, family, and travel. And hey, if Jana wants to wait another 10 years before settling down, so be it! It's her life and her future and she should be able to do what she wants!
